Johnny Dishon took advantage of a rare start Saturday in left field for LSU.  The BC product hit a homerun on the first pitch he saw and finished 2-3 with 3 runs scored and an RBI in the Tigers 9-7 win over Alabama.  The Tide are coached by Port Arthur native Mitch Gaspard. It was Dishon's fourth HR and he raised his batting average to .220

Nederland should move to 20 wins and 11-1 as Laird and Bellow continue the journey…..Orangefield goes to 9-0 in district and could be a damper on Silsbee’s playoff run…PNG prepares for Hester Tues, but will he pitch Friday’s LCM contest……Diboll want see a JV pitcher like Hudson, Dogs roll…..Bridge City goes for 20 wins, not easy Silsbee/WOS this week……Huffman rolls…..LCM’s big week , can they pull off 2 wins again with Liv/Vid?.....WOS takes care of business and clinches playoff spot…..Evadale rolls
Surely Trae will throw tomorrow. We have a chance for our first district championship. Would really hate to not even give the boys their best chance for a title.
You got a pretty good point and I'm sure that plays into the decision.
