I think its agreat way for them to stay in shape and work on their skills, but I agree that sometimes it does get over blown and by this time of year some kids start getting burned out a bit.

I fished Choke alot when it first opened and it was awsome. We used to put in at Calliham State Park (alot of huge deer in there). I haven't been there in several years but we used to stay at the Bass Inn, is that place still there? The second day I ever fished there we had three 7's , one 8, and one over 9lbs. Great lake.

Here is a list - Alvin's 16-team field features Hightower, Elkins, Friendswood, Pearland, Clear Brook, Clear Creek, Texas City, Brazosport, New Caney, Bay City, Aldine, Baytown Lee, Spring, Klein, La Porte and the soon-to-be ex-host Yellowjackets. I think Baytown Lee has allready qualified. Klien should be up top.
