Danny, I think you did a great job and I enjoyed your insight. This local football scene is a good Ole boys club and they gave you flack at first. You were persistent and put forth great effort , the kind of effort that The Enterprise has always lacked. Best of luck on all your future endeavors. I miss it out west sooooo much.

In not arguing . Im just saying compared to humble, leckelt and Bollinger that we lack the speed , physicality and elusiveness at that position. The qb does run hard but stands straight up before contact and looks to be in a position to get hurt by doing so and we need him. The Slot-T can be misleading when reading into running stats. Its still early on in the season and I'm sure their game speed will improve. -
Parents: Due to size of practice facility freshman and JV are to report to Linda's Cake Walk bakery.

UPDATE: Lumberton football practices have been moved to Sweet Bee Boutique & Deserts to simulate game like conditions .

They are not down compared to most average teams standards. I would say they are down by WOS standards because championship programs set high standards for themselvas. It's more of a complement in that regard . Personally I would like to see them win out.

Vidor: Defense is better than years past and offense is on schedule. Kicking game stinks. Lacking a true tailback which we normally have. quarter back needs to run a little harder and not so upright when getting hit. Need to get our fullback back. -
fair enough. I hope you're right and Im wrong .

Vidor at lcm....... predictions....

With all its district mates having bye weeks , there will be plenty of scouts in attendance. Vidor should try to get by with showing as little as possible. -
Crosby catches WOS on a down year. Crosby kicks them while they're down. 42-7
-
This may be the toughest week for Newton all season. Its gonna be hard for them to not be out there kicking someone's tail.
-
Nederland wins but Silsbee will see better days once they hit district. They just can't compete with decent teams in the larger classifications
-
Keep the natural grass. It will be a hip thing (FAD) in the future anyways. Plus, that would kill the homecoming tradition of fireworks, fireboards , fire twirling etc. Keep it real
-
Very true. Relying on quick cuts , the wet field actually hurts Vidor. We saw that in the seadon opener 2 years ago.
-
Vidor needs to get their fullback back and find a tailback. Once district starts they cant rely solely on the fact that the other defense has no experience against their offense. Halfback is great Also, the qb center exchange has to be worked on. They got away with a sloppy game week 1 but that happens during week one games. Theyll be alright

I noticed that Vidors starting fullback did not play against Motgomery. Will he play in this game ?
