Franklin 3 Orangefield 0 end of 1st

Franklin just hit a 3 run HR to start game 2... bottom of the 1st 3-0 no outs

He played for team USA and won a world championship against Chinese Taipei and was named first team all world.

I stand by my statement.... 12 hits to 6.... they played very uncharacteristic. Walks is what kept Orangefield in the game not hits.

The first balk call on him shouldn't have been called a balk. He call for time and was given time by the home plate umpire but the 3rd base umpire said no it's a balk. But like I said Franklin should have never been in that situation. Franklin had double the hits but kept walking everyone which is not like them. Got to clean it up on game 2. Which I'm sure they are going to pitch #4 who has been in the biggest of games out of everyone on the field.

Horrible call at the home plate but we should have never been in that spot to begin with. Orangefield 6 Franklin 5 final for game 1.... game 2 will start in 30 minutes

This is also the furthest Franklin has been in the playoffs... 2022 and now 2024. Both teams are playing for its schools first trip to state in baseball then.

Yeah wasn't saying that was going to happen just that we have great pitching. I'm looking forward to some great baseball being played by these two teams

But it's not a stretch... we have 7 that could go 7 innings. Not saying that it will happen but no reason to lie about it either. We have some great pitching on this team and have had 7 or more go 7 innings this season.

You didn't even see all the pitchers for Franklin either. A couple of solid pitchers didn't even pitch against Huntington.
