AAW has a lil sarcasm going on for you. Youth leagues are usually known for "Daddy Ball." I'm thinking THAT'S what he's getting at.

Does anyone have any scores for week 1?

That's exactly what happened and they left 21 wide open and he made us pay for it. As for Nate, he got 3 fouls early and a 4th early in the 3rd qtr. Not to take from Nederland big win, but those three refs were complete GARBAGE. They missed TONS of calls on both sides. Saw a Nederland player literally hugging a PAM player with no call. On the other end saw PAM players get away with some things as well.

All bark and no bite.

We had several turnovers however, I'm not going to take anything away from La Marque. They're scrappy and didn't shy away from the challenge before them.

As I spent Friday Saturday and Sunday at Port Arthur Memorial Stadium watching A LOT of football, I couldn't let the weekend pass without congratulating of of the Champions from this weekend. I know some are disgruntled with the league but, I can only speak for my son and myself when I say that the past 5yrs have been a joy for us. I can't leave out the cheerleaders. Hosting/working the Superbowl the past two years has giving me a new found respect for the ladies who tirelessly work with and COORDINATE (E.R.) the routines, hairstyles, cheers for the little ladies of STJFL. You all rock!

Seems like the only ppl wanting smoke is other P.A. teams. Mine says he has a point to prove. Here's to a healthy game, good to both teams.

While others were there watching their kid play and back home, the past two weekends I've been at that stadium for 31 hours. So please charge it to my fading memory and nothing else.

For the second week in a row, the best game of the day was the last game of the day. The SR PNG vs PA Superbowl went into DOUBLE OT, with winning it 32-31. Awesome game and effort from both teams.

This game was the last of the day at Memorial Stadium. I'm glad it lived up to the hype for me.

Yep Ned-B won 21-18. Congrats to those guys on a hard fought victory.
