Just as many dads as moms have said something on this board, and I'm just as irritated with them. The recent examples just so happened to be female. I couldn't care less if you were a male or female.

No sidestepping here I'm not a fan of helicopter parents, in this case it's an influx of moms {on this site}. In most cases before this, it's been dads. In the last few days, a lot of NDNMom(attach kids # here). My apologies for offending anyone. Rant over Love your kids up, please (no sarcasm intended).

I don't think any person averaging that many interceptions a game is the answer. The influx of moms on this board posting their nonsense is what's getting me. Before y'all lose it - I know everyone is entitled to post what they want.

I'm so glad there wasn't a message board when I was in HS! If my mother had written anything on this board about my play or lack-there-of, or had criticized my coach - I would've been so embarrassed... The amount of helicopter moms on this site is turning my stomach.

Oh... I'm sorry, I didn't know this was 3A... Somewhere along the 30 years I've been following High School football, it evaded me that there is Re-Alignment. I'm fully aware of La Marque's drop in class, their failures with TEA and their significant drop in play. At one time, LM was premier HS football team in the state; they won multiple state titles in the larger classifications. The LM teams in the 90s steamrolled people, they had 2 state champs in the first decade of the 2000s. It's a shame a school with such tradition is hemorrhaging. Congrats to Coldspring.

Congrats to Coldspring It's weird seeing La Marque getting beat by Coldspring, it wasn't that long ago when they were dominating the old 4A Classification (Now 5A).

Wasn't it legacy that asked Mayfield to cut his dreadlocks? There are some school districts that won't let young men have hair that touches the collar of their shirt. No clue if Ned is one of those or not. I personally can are less about the length of a kids hair or whether or not they have facial hair. Some make bigger deals out of it than it needs to be.
