  1. If a QB has the ability run, allow him to run. Tim Tebow, Collin Klein, Drenard Robinson in the recent past. Lamar Jackson (Louisville) and Quinton Flowers (USF) this season each have over 700 yards rushing. Not sure what's being implied about RJ being ran so much Go watch Auburn Nick Marshall a few years back, North Dakota State with Carson Wentz or Oregon with Marcus Mariota. Use the strengths of the guys you have... Just my opinion
  2. I'm not picking on kids or coaches here Kingwood shutout Summer Creek 15-0 Sterling gives up almost 80 to Atascosita and GCM hasn't won a game his season. KWood shuts y'all out 31-0, but y'all score on Sterling and lose 29-7. How do you figure Sterling beats Kingwood?
  3. Have you seen Goose Creek CISD football this year? Not impressed
  4. Appreciate man
  5. Is Splendora officially "out"
  6. This game will be over in 78 minutes 48 minutes for 4 Quarters 30 minutes for Halftime and when a player inadvertently runs out of bounds, or perhaps a rare pass or two
  7. Could be a double PAM situation Hines - Offense Vincent - Defense Can't count out WOS kids - Dallas and Mandel Logan LeJeune for PNG has been having a solid season I'm sure the Quirante kid from Vidor will get some looks
  8. Man... this would've been for playoff seeding a couple years back... What a shame... SMH
  9. Big time game in 21-5A
  10. It really comes down to the following 3 teams (someone fact check me like Anderson Cooper please): Livingston, Nederland and Central Livingston owns the Head to Head tiebreaker vs Nederland due to 1-0 forfeit for the ineligible player. If Central find a way to beat Livingston and Nederland can win at least 1 of their last 2, there's a chance of a log jam of 4-4 teams at the end of the regular season. It gets into point differentials after that, and I'm not up to date on those. Central could win out and throw a wrench in Nederland's plans, as can Livingston. The only way Nederland can "for sure" make it is by winning out. The only teams that are mathematically out are Lumberton and Lee.
  11. If Nederland/Central is able to make it: D1: PAM vs Porter Nederland/Central vs New Caney D2: PNG vs Barbers Hill Vidor vs Crosby If Livingston makes it: D1: PAM vs Porter PNG vs New Caney D2: Vidor vs Barbers Hill Livingston vs Crosby
  12. You're not incorrect - I definitely see your side of things. I think there's already been a thread about what would happen if you combined some local schools: Ned/PNG, WOS/LCM, Central/Ozen, OF/BC, Lumberton/Silsbee...etc
  13. PAM has had some studs: Charles, Johnson, Holmes, Dauphine, Martin and now Hines. Them boys in PA are blessed up on the RB department.
  14. IMO - it plays into the hands of people who are fans of participation trophies and ribbons. On the other hand, it evens out the playing field. People will argue population size until they are blue in the face. I'm not a huge proponent, but I can see why some smaller 5A schools would be in favor of it.
  15. WOS beats PAM Im not a fan of PNG, Ned, WOS or PAM - but I've seen all 4 play. WOS is the cream of the crop, at least for this year.
  16. Liberty has a hot hand right now
  17. PAM by as much as they want
  18. What's the deal?
  19. If if was a fifth, right?
  20. PAM, PNG and Vidor are virtual locks for playoffs. It comes down to the following teams: Livingston, Nederland, Central and Lumberton. PAM is guaranteed D1 regardless Vidor is D2 PNG will go D1 if Livingston/Lumberton get the #4 spot. D2 if Central/Ned gets the #4 spot.
  21. Crickets
  22. There are no moral victories in losing by 20
  23. I've mentioned the same about Manvel and Temple Loads of 5A teams at the top with recent 6A experience: Highland Park, Denton Ryan, Manvel and Temple to name a few... Still have teams like Aledo, Frisco Lone Star and Cedar Park to deal with.
