Fair enough Wouldve been nice if GCISD could've found a way to shuffle the deck enough to allow all 3 schools to be 5A. Not sure if that was even possible or logical though.

I'd be all for some kind of SE Texas vs SW Louisiana "Bayou Bowl" involving teams from their respective areas. Maybe it could be a series type deal that alternates between Lamar and McNeese? Could expose local talent to those schools in the process

If PNG contains Barnes/Thomas/Tyler and does their thing offensively, they'll come away with the win. If Silsbee can get the ground game going with Adonis and Calvin, it'll open up the pass. Might get interesting after that...

Uhhhh.... With all due respect, and I mean with all due respect, they went 3-7 in a 6A district that closely resembles the one GCM is in now. How well do you honestly think GCM will do considering y'all couldn't make the playoffs in a 5A district last season?

Personally, I would've liked to have seen some PAM vs MC Schools in non-district leading up to this season. That being said, these schools having not played each other should lead to some interesting, if not entertaining atmosphere. Nederland, PNG, Vidor and Lumberton are a bit different than North Shore, Deer Park, La Porte and West Brook.

The return of oldschool is a momentous occasion
