I heard they scrimmaged Beaumont and got run over. Is this true!
I'm sure that Bmt didn't, and probably won't "run over" any team is this league this year. I'll put my money on Ktz flag team. Better athletes then those West End puppies. Didn't Bmt flag go winless last year? :D
How did Kountze do this past weekend?

Didn't Nederland lose their #1 QB last year in week one? Didn't Nederland make the playoffs last year? Be patient
Yes Yes Yes I agree, Neumann said in the paper that they aren't about to go out and slash their wrists over this, I think the Ned fans should follow suit.
Why can't the bulldog fans see it this way ???...Man I get so tierd of hearing I have been a bulldog fan forever [glow=red,2,300]BUT....[/glow]
I think the bulldogs will have a better record than last year because they are better on both sides of the ball .WOS is also better than they were last year ..In saying that.Salenga look good Kemp ran well/// Sonnier was Sonnier played with more heart than most nice one shoe touchdown.  D-line did not look all that bad..Stampley needs to be in at LB I think he would help some on the outside containment. Corners need to learn if you get a flag it is bettr than a touchdown ,,safetys did ok ..Carson did not look bad ...But I sure thought I would see Trevin at QB..But carson will be fine...Good luck Dogs
 4.
TOUPS GRAPHICS SUMMARY Dayton If they don't put the ball on the turf and catch the ball when it hits them in the hands they will give a good showing this Friday. Way too many offensive errors to beat a 5A team. Dayton's defense is AWEsome! Seemed like everytime Nederland got the ball inside the Dayton 30, the Bulldogs were pushed back. Dayton, with all the unforced offensive errors, and not having one of the best receivers in the area, still pulled away from a very good Nederland team in the 2nd half. [glow=red,2,300] If Gamal Fowler would have been in this game, there was nobody in the Nederland secondary that could have covered him, the game would have been a blowout in the first half.[/glow]Nederland Trenches look solid for Nederland.  Defense is solid, but no speed in the secondary.  QB has a bazooka, but is slow.  Key for Nederland is to get #1 churning up the rushing yardage.  If Nederland can run the ball, they will be VERY tough to beat.  Both teams will be in the playoffs.
I believe Sonnier can run and cover any of the recievers in 4a...6.4 60 is not to shaby..He is the only secondary guy for Nederland who has that closing speed to come up and make the stops on the run.. Last night all the long runs came after Sonnier was out with his injury..Not saying he would have stoped every one of them ...But it sure could have made a small differnce..Bulldogs def was tierd from being ON the field the entire night ...I think over all good game... Dionte a little gun shy under pressure from that bad a%% DEF FRONT OF DAYTONS..
 5.

Both teams looked out of sync. Neds best DB had an early exit due to a lower leg injury. Forney (sp),Ned QB, looked very tentative and was very inaccurate. Moved like a 90 yr old man. Left a lot to be desired. Dayton QB and RB are legit. QB gets better and better. #1 runs hard esp after contact. I'm still confident GCM holds Dayton to 20. They do not have all the "bullets" they have had the previous 2 seasons. Best kicker in SE Texas plays for the Broncos. He gives Dayton the edge in ANY close game.
Does anyone know who the DB was and any info on the injury?
Sonnier..Def will be in trouble if he does not return ...
 6. Ok.... no more rumor crap ;D he is playing football...Good luck Trev and no matter what your decision was I am sure you had support from both Mom & Dad.Good luck ..
 7.
Does anybody know if Trev is playing football now that he has commited? I hear rumors that he is not playing. That hurts Nederland if he does not :-[
Hey my bad guys..Did not meen any harm..I was just wondering ..I guess we will see monday morning..

 9. I am very proud of you Trev, watched you grow up playing ball since you were a kid. My kids can look up to you because of the hard work and dedication, your dreams can come true. Your dad is very lucky to have such a fine young man. See you in Fort Worth! P.S. No more Burnt Orange! Purple Power
Will the jury hurry up and make a decision, Monte needs a decision before school gets out. :D If we are going to continue to post B.S. how about this. Everything hinges on the 45 minute Flag Football game next week. That will determine the starter. Funny stuff. Bottom line, best player will be on the field !
No jury needed... guilty guilty guilty ;D
 13.
Your are 100% wrong. They met monday!
You do not have a clue on what you are talking about...20-4a coaches have not met for all-district picks...PEOPLE LIKE YOU ...NEVER MIND..If you don't know don't post ..And you don't know so stop posting :o 1696 is right ...They will meet this week
 14. I agree Penny....Trevin is a good one 4.5 speed does help in the spread....Every body talks about the playoff game against Crosby last season and the big arm of forney ...But if I recall Trevin touched the ball 4 maybe 5 times and went 92 yrds ..That was the first set of downs of the second half...And guess what no more wildcat after that..WOW makes you wonder..But I have faith in Monte ;)
 15. Sonnier...... Safety Nederland first team alldistrict three year letterman...Kemp ....corner Nederland also three year letterman
 16.
Would have to go with the Sonnier/Schlett duo too!  Watched them play middle infield together for 7 years now and you'd be hard pressed to find a better combo. Its like they know what the other is going to do before it happens!!  Love these boys!
I have to agree with you, Sonnier is probabaly the best shortstop around  he is for sure division 1 product. It would be nice to see him and kirby stay together at UT. Hookem Horns!
 17.  Gladiators are looking for 7u players for next year anyone interested please call 350-9494 are reply to posting thank you
 18. Its ok Basebow Green left Nederland to try to bring that winning tradtion to Vidor....It just took that Nederland guy to get it done : :P
 19.
If Forney were connected to me, we wouldnt be having this discussion. It's too political in that small town. I wish i could come down there and watch their spring game to watch that big 6-5 245 pound qb destroy his so-called competition.
6-5 245 POUND QB that runs a 5.6 40yd dash not good for the spread...But good for defence... There are kids on that team that can run and throw just as good as Forney  ...He would help the team more on defence
 20. Wow basebow the vidorins ganging up on you ;D Big Ned 4 Vidor 0
 21.
He's played better as a 3B than ss in the games I have seen but switch it up mcdonald to 3rd and sonnier to ss, they would both be on my infield.
Sonnier much better short stop than he was 3rd... Range Range Range..and great arm... Great glove work and he can hit ....He will be D1
 22.
I think the big question at Nederland for next year is who starts under Center? Two good options. Not a bad problem to have! I would have to go with Forney after the way he led the team at the end of the season. But if he can help you more elsewhere because you have an established QB to step in (Smith) it creates a delima.
I understand Sonnier has been working nothing but QB :o I figured this would happen..But it would be hard to take him from the safety pos. He would be a great spread QB..You never know with That nederland coaching staff ..
 23.
Parker is leading setexas in hr's with 7 and does it without getting much to hit...He is hands down the best catcher in setx..if you can hit the coaches will find a place for you to play... and if you dont... you dont need to worry about washing your uniform...Felts power has been lacking so far this year...
Felts....Babino.....Parker...Babino solid Def.probably the least amount of mistakes out of all of them on def.
 24.

Vidor gets in.
Vidor takes first IMO......
Yeah If Hester pitches every game and that is not going to happen....O yeah Nederland has that kid named Bellow as the Ace with the most pitching depth in the district behind him..It is going to be a great season for 20-4a ..Vidor will not be number 1  ::)
Idiotic statement. Some people just want to start crap behind a screen name.
I don't think coolhand was trying to start any crap...people take stuff and interpit their on way ...Not really a bad question..I don't think he was questioning Carsons ability to play the game ...Maybe he was asking why Brown & Smith & Pitts are not getting the innings they need...And who knows Carson might be the three  guy in the rotation I guess we will see Tuesday...Good luck to the Dogs and you boys don't pay any att. to the crazy crapppp people post on here...Dogs keep putting up 17 & 13 hits a game it don't matter who is on the mound..Good Luck....
