  1. Exactly. At 38 years old the Giants won 39% of his starts and were a .500 team overall. Someones bringing down the averages! Not really sure what the point was to even bring him in?
  2. I thought Parnell played just as well if not better than Free. Both FA this year.
  3. My suspicion tells me that this will turn out to be a positive move for Coach Strong. Just feel like this kid would not have jived with the New UT philosophy that Charlie is implementing. Little Timmy seems too much like his uncle at the same age and in todays NCAA and social media world, I'm not sure one can survive the way the Playmaker did.
  4. Kept him too long. Hurt them later with cap space. Early on it was about the superstars and marketing those three. JJ learned ftom his mistakes??? Hopefully.
  5. So do they sign Free at 31 or Parnell at 28? I'd guess you get Selvie cheaper than Spencer? But the production outta Selvie has been better.
  6. the AP thing is not a bad idea. Three year deal for some chump change. I'd bet that AP plays more than Murray the next three years. Murray is fragile.
  7. Drunk and Disorderly? 😜
  8. I'd argue that he's a fool if he pays what Murrays gonna ask. Unless he gets him at a considerable discount JJ would be a fool to sign him. Thats the old Jerra. New JJ lets Ware go instead of hamstringing the team with a silly contract. New JJ lets Murray go for same reason. Gabe go check the stats on Randall. It's an O Line thing and a Linahan thing. And to answer the question, "Who made the difference this year?" Zach Martin. He solidified that line from right side to left side. And the worst move this offseason is the lose of Callahan with that O Line, but its one JJ could do very little about.

    Texas

UT needs to get on the ball here. Where's Alexis Texas?
  10. All started when he (they) focused on the O Line in the top part of the draft a few years back. Culminated in the emphasis in the running game this year. They will re-sign Bryant. Cant find a better or even suitable young replacement out there. Murray on the other hand will have to test the market and unfortunately he'll find the market sux for RBs. Randall averaged 6.7 ypc. If Jerry lets Murray go and signs or drafts a RB for far less, I'll say he's learned his lesson. If he re-signs him for a bloated deal then back to Jethro.
  11. Whatever Dallas is going to do to make that Defense better next year will be straight outta the draft because they have no money to spend in Free Agency. If Lee returns healthy paired with McClain theyll be better in the middle, but gotta get more pressure up front.
  12. Yup. Big Red belongs at LU.
  13. Didn't Houston play in this exact round two of the last four seasons?
  14. Lions call was a bad call, but it shoulda been offsetting and replay 3rd down.
  15. who says AP gonna be an option
  16. Pay Dez. Not sure about Murray. Those fumbles are a problem. And I think a lot of RBs coulda done what Murray did behind that line. Look at what Randall did when he got carries.
  17. problem with the law is it still leaves the term "football move" up for interpretation and at the desecration of an official.
  18. Gotta agree that I don't think Dallas keeps Rogers and Co. from at the very least kicking a go ahead FG
  19. You watch. NFL will say call was wrong and apologize and blah, blah, blah...And Packers play Seattle next week.
  20. Nobody is beating the C-Hawks
  21. So he will have two years eligibility begining with 2016 season
  22. And who they gonna get? FA QB list is dismal. Matt Moore is probably best available and he's 33 next season. Winston nor Marriotta will be available for Houston. Texans starter for 2015 is most likely still on the roster today.
  23. Probably a good fit. And in his back yard. Better shot at a National Title at TCU.
  24. I agree. Extra practice is not going to prepare you for Duck-Tempo Football. The only thing you can do with the Oregon offense is not give up the big plays and when they go deep, be ready to sub. Make them have four downs in the redzone with a shortened field and be content that giving up 3 is a good series for your D. I'd spend my week with a lot of focus the items above and on how my offense can score consistently against the Ducks. Hold em to three, but you gotta get seven.
