I'm getting tired of hearing about not having a Big 12 Championship game. There was a Big 12 Championship Game. It was played on October 11th and Baylor won 61-58 PERIOD. The best two teams in the conference played. Alabama and Missouri played in the SEC title...not the top two teams in the conference. OSU and Wisconsin in Big 10 title game...Not the top two teams in the conference.

Imagine an 8 team playoff using AP poll 1Alabama vs 8Miss St. Alabama. Alabama 2FSU vs 7Mich St. Mich St 3Oregon vs 6TCU. Oregon. Oregon 4Baylor vs OSU. Baylor

If OSU gets the nod, it was about ratings. They lost at home to a 6-6 VTech team. Nuff said. Im more of a TCU fan, but fact is Baylor got the H2H. Baylor should be in. Just dont see the committee saying we were wrong last week.

So you would leave out the undefeated 27-0 defending national champs? Hmmm I think a lot of folks on that committee where hoping for a GT W last night to make this easier.

Can't see the committee saying they were wrong about TCU a week later and after a 55-3 stomping. This folks is why we dont need a weekly playoff ranking. Just vote at the end and give it to us. If they did that and it was OSU over TCU or Baylor then oh well, but know a precedent hasxbeen set with TCU at #3 last week.

I say they should just try and find a QB that fits the pro-style they are installing. As well as some road graders up front. I would think that theyd be able to bring in one of the top pro-style QBs in the country with the auspice that he would be a top draft pick after a few years under Watson and leading UT back into national prominence.

Isnt it a disservice to keep him around another year and have him get beat out then he transfers and losses essentially two years because he will have to sit out a year for transfer making him a Junior before he could play. Or play him now and find out what you got. Then maybe he decides to transfer after this year and still has the RS for his transfer year.

Then they obviously don't have plans for Heard in the future or he would've already been starting, so whats the problem in burning it now to find out what he's got in game. And why the hell do you punt there???

Yes. And prep him for start in Bowl game. Look if it was a given that Heard was gonna be the next great QB then no, but if he is that good he aint gonna be around for four more years anyway.

Gotta run Swoopes more to keep TCU honest. Why isnt Paterson a leading candidate for Florida job? Guy always has TCU playing SEC style D and now has a legit offense.

TCU may win, but Im loving this Texas D. Coach Strong has made his imprint this year with a championship D. If they can get a QB and create an offense like they had with Teddy B in Louisville next year and beyond, they will compete for playoffs year in and year out and bring an SEC physicality with them.
