That's funny football04, you ever been to Faircloths last stop before PNG? That Odessa fresh air is spectacular (tongue-n-cheek).

FWKid what does your glory days with the Blue and Gray of SFA have to do with the fact that there is irony in someone from PA calling themselves FriendswoodKid (showing no love for PA) and complaining about the PA News showing no love to PAM? Do you get the PA news delivered in FWood? If not then I don't think you have much room to complain. Reading the FREE online version you won't get every story...because it's FREE. Oh and for the record I went to SFA also!

Ironic coming from someone who calls themselves Friendswoodkid!

best quarterbacks in hamshire fannett's history

1st of all Kenny Ford did not run the option and yes he did throw the ball and quite well I might add. The kid that threw to Malveaux had a last name like Loicano? Good QB. He also had Spencer George in the backfield which helps take the pressure off a QB. -
Silsbee QB has hip pointer, day to day

Get him to 100% before WOS. No one else in that district will be an issue for the Tigers without Reed. -

The Big 12 has no defense, so yeah he will probably like it better there... This weekend total points scored: Big 12 - 286 pts (4 Games) SEC - 225 pts (6 Games) In all seriousness though, congrats to this young man. He is a heck of an athlete.
I know exactly what you were doing....AND NO I AM NOT AN IDOIT!!! My point was maybe he choose the UNIVERSITY of Texas first and foremost not the UT Football program! And futhurmore what does any of this have to do with PNG's Football Season? My mental status does not revolve around the play of 16 and 17 year olds on a Friday night...Unlike many. -

A lot of times when teams face a misdirection running attack the second time, they fair much better.

No PNG did not have another viable QB option against LCM. Remember folks the coach you are bashing for not making adjustments and for not playing his junior QB on JV last year to get playing time for this year, well the QB that he went to the week before broke his hand so AJ had to move back to QB and the next best option is a Freshman. So the fact is AJ played well enough in a pinch against Lumberton to get another shot against LCM, but rather than have the Fish sit on the sidelines on Friday night and get no PT he had him playing on Thursday. So, shot taken...He missed...Now time to reload. Big question now is do you play the Fish on Friday night for a few weeks until Walker comes back? This would get AJ back at WR, but could also rattle a young QB?? One other thing...the strength and conditioning at PNG today is light years ahead of where it was when Burnett was HC, for the poster that spewed that crap earlier. BRANDON FAIRCLOTH IS NOT THE PROBLEM with PNG football this season!!! There are a handful of local good ole boy supporters out there that just couldn't wait to jump on this opportunity to bash BF because MB is their buddy! Let it go. Burnett's winning percentage was one of the worst at PNG. Go check it! MB teams would win every 4th year (when the talent matched his bruising system). Take away the 3 year Dustin Long/Mike Long run and see what MBs record was.
I'm sure they just didn't want to subject the kids to any cloaked biggotry. I heard the remarks some of the Vidor fans were making.
Sad thing in all of this discussion is that the only truth that we all know for sure as a group on this messageboard is that the Crosby School Board didn't CLOACK their biggotry what-so-ever in what has to be one of the most uneducated decisions that I have ever seen from a school board regarding athletics when they chose not to play at Vidor during the regular season! FACT! -

I can just hear the PNG parents blaming the coaches as they have since this Senior group was in middle school. Get ready because it will be a down year in every sport at PNG! You heard here first, Faircloth WILL LEAVE after this season!
First off congrats to Lcm and secondly you have know idea what you are talking about with Faircloth leaving.
Great game by the Bears. And I think you will find that most PNG fans were very leary of this season with this group of Seniors bassed on what they had done or not done in the past. It's a down year. No real playmaker on offense. Good news for NDN fans and coach Faircloth is that the Soph, Fresh and even 8th grade groups are very good. For this reason alone I see BF sticking around.

A.J. Smith returns as QB, rallies PNG to win
badndn replied to AggiesAreWe's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Yes, Bia, I agree AJ looked more assertive running the ball. He made more good plays than he did poor plays with his arm and legs. LCMs defense looks like they are having similiar troubles as ours. Could be a high scoring afair which we have become accustomed to lately. Lets hope we outscore 'em and move to 2-0. -
I gotta say that if Vidor could beat last years Ozen Panthers with the Green/Jones Combo in the backfield, they should beat this years Panthers without Green.
