1. Yes he will Soulja. The future looks bright with this kid. He was fast, hard to hit, hard to take down, had a cannon for an arm, but had no WR'S that could catch the ball. On one play he rolled out right threw back across his body left, and split two PNG defenders 40 yards down field in the endzone hitting his WR in the hands. Unfortunately after it hits the WR's hands it hit the ground! He threw another ball on a rope 50 yards to a WR that had beaten his man one on one, but the kid slowed down almost to a stop and tried to jump up and catch the ball. If he keeps running he catches it in stride for a long TD. PNG's WR #16 showed him how it's done a little later for a long TD pass! ;D
 2.

I added some growth for the juniors for next year. A full offseason! And I wasn't sure about DJ's Height. I know Zeke was 6'4" or taller so I guessed on DJ. The two seniors I went by listed heights.
the heights they list exaggerate alot lol
Dallas Davis is every bit of 6'5". Doty may only be 6'2". Same for DeRon.
 3. Best team to ever come out of 20 4A Sorta confussing, because it hasn't always been 20-4A and up until a few years back there were two local 4A's. , but I would have to agree that the Dayton team from a couple of years ago would be pretty high on my list. Along with '99 PNG and '00 WOS.
 4. I added some growth for the juniors for next year. A full offseason! And I wasn't sure about DJ's Height. I know Zeke was 6'4" or taller so I guessed on DJ. The two seniors I went by listed heights. The point being, they can play at the next level.
 5.
I dont think anyone from png has d 1 potential...
Here we go again! ::) There are several on PNG with Southland Conference capabilities, which is D1 (FCS). Seniors: Dallas Davis (6'5" 280 DE in 3-4) Dre Dunbar - Safety Spencer DeRon (6'3") H-Back/TE (reminds me of the Seth Harley kid from LCM a few years back that went to McNeese Caleb Harmon - RB Juniors: Greg Lunceford (6'3" 270 lb OL) DJ Schexneider (6'3" 220 lb OLB in 3-4 Rushing the QB) Brennan Doty (6'3" QB) needs to add some weight. I agree PNG does not have a bunch of Big 12, SEC or even CUSA guys, but the guys listed could all play in the SLC and a couple in the Sunbelt.
 6. WOW, this thread has gotten boring and repetative. It's like listening to 6 year olds argue about who's daddy can beat up who's. ::)
 7.
Obviously it is down alot.  PNG is way overated compared the rest of the state.  Don't think that because you dominated a weak district this year that you deserve the state ranking you receive.  This district will be shut down the first round of the playoffs.
Yeah and PNG fans are cocky! ::) We dominated a weak district (19-4A) and a tough one (20-4A). ;D
 8.
vidor may have been trying to find it but the kids playing have been workin for it since their sophmore year to be where they are right now they want this more than livingston does IMO.
Really? You really think either team wants it more than the other? Livingston prooved on 10/30/09 that they are going down swinging. Last time Vidor played a team that was fighting for it's playoff lives, how'd that workout (Nederland W). I think you may underestimate the fight in the Lions. Both teams will play this one as a playoff game.
and its Sr. night the crowd will be loud and proud to keep them going and their confidence is up just bc they know they can do better than they have and they want to prove it. they don'twanna be remembered as the team that had the chance to make playoffs but choked they will come out playing hard just like the central and LCM games.i was told this by a player on the team.
What would you expect the players to say?  "We don't want to win"
 9. BH fans, I am not saying you shouldn't be excited that you made the playoffs, once your in you got a shot. What I am saying is that you have no reason to be on here posting about how great BH is this year and how they will be sending PNG home early. Every one of those statements is backed up by an IF. I agree some of these so called PNG fans have gotten out of hand with the comments, but like it or not at least the PNG smack talk is legit. They have something to back it up. No IFs. Anything can happen on a Friday night, but most of the time when you get to the playoffs the better team wins. 20 4A was 3-0 against 19 4A predistrict (including BH getting beaten at home against one of our last place teams). Outside of Dayton over our #4 I don't see it any different week 11.
 10. I can't wait for that Central Halftime! The only one each year that I really pay attention to. I hear that you guys have drummer that will make us all question if we are meeting our potential! ;D Would be cool for both teams to make a playoff run and play some double headers.
 11.
Livingston will be up for this one. After last week's win over Central, confidence will be the key to this game. Livingston has it and Vidor has spent the past 30 years trying to find it again. I just think the Lions may have the Pirates number this year. LIV 24 VID 17
And in a 3 way tie with Liv and Ozen, this score would still get Vidor in as the fourth.
 12. I got one honest question for you BH fans, what is it that makes you so confident that you will beat PNG this time around? All I keep reading is if BH this and if BH that, then they will win! If BH does a bunch of stuff they haven't done all season they will win?? What makes you think they will change their ways all of a sudden? The key for PNG to win is not doing something that they haven't done all year. They key is to keep doing what they have been each week. Execute. No IFs. When your season success is predicated on ifs and buts, you are ususally in for a short season. A couple of years ago PNG had alot of ifs when we played Lamar Consolidated and LC had none. LC wins and goes on to win state. PNG was what we thought we were, a good team with some ifs and we went home early in the playoffs as we should have. Good Luck Eagles, I think you guys have a flawed sense of reality and I really hope that you think the team that you "almost beat" or "should have beat IF" in week 0 is the same you will or might see in two weeks!
 13. As bad as both teams are at throwing the ball, I would have to say that Vidor has a distinct edge in this one category. Livingston is horrible at putting the ball in the air. Vidor can complete some shorter routes at least and this may end up being the difference in this playoff game! I said this just before district about the Vidor hype and them not challenging themselves with their always week pre-district schedule, that they would struggle against the teams that do play tougher non-district. I mentioned that PNG, Nederland and Central typically make the playoffs because they are battle tested and have had their weeknesses exposed and fixed before or early on in district. And all you Vidor fans said "You'll see", "No one can stop us", "Blah, Blah, Blah". Well here we are and Vidor is fighting for their Playoff lives after losing to who else, but Central, PNG, and Nederland. Good luck to the Pirates on Friday. Hopefully next year Mathews tightens up the schedule for you guys a bit.
 14.
What happened in the beginning of the season is over with. if BH QB holds down the turnovers the game would end up with a 32 28 win BH
And If PNG's QB, in his first ever Varsity game under a totally new system and coaches, didn't turn the ball over. The game is a PNG blowout! You can play the IF game all you want. PNG has gotten better each week. Has BH? Doesn't look like it.
 15. Dogs are in IMO. No way they lose a playoff game against Lumberton! PNG Central Nederland Vidor (If I am correct they would have to lose to Livingston by 14 or more to be out in a 3way tie with Liv and Ozen (if Ozen wins). Livingston may beat them, but not by 13+)
 16.
For a player ranked No. 34 - it does not seem like he had an impressive list of schools interested in him.  ???
That's because he was a 6'1" (probably closer to 6') combo gaurd. If he was a 6'3" combo gaurd he would have probably been more heavily recruited.
 17. 7mary3 you must be from the Hill.  ::) And to imjusayin, yes I brought up 1999 because they said the same crap 10 years ago. Deep runs in '89, '99 & ??
 18.
Like I said.....PLEASE put down the PIPE. Come On, you can't be serious, State Title, your rookie Coach and lack of team speed, wont be able to get you guys out of the first round. You need someone like THE "DON" to get you guys to the promise land.
That's funny because that slow team you guys keep harpin on made it to the State title in '99 because they were disciplined and executed a gameplan the way it was designed. They also were hard hitting and intimidating on defense. Speed is not the end all be all! Also the teams we played that year in the semis and title game were not fast either (Shertz Clemens and Stephenville). The speed team was Lamarque and we smoked them!
 19. I think most of you BH folks forget that the first game with BH was the first game with new coaches and a totally new 180 degree change offense. I also think that you underestimate the hand that our defense had in those six turnovers. If you did a little research you would find that the PNG defense has caused turnovers all year long. Good luck to the Hill.
 20. BCJag while just about everyone was cheering last night at the Rez when they anounced the final score of the Central game, I was disapointed. I wanted to have that undefeated matchup for the title. Also the loss should re-energize and re-focus a good group of Jaguar athletes.
 21.
From an outsider's point of view, the most obvious thing the Indians have going now is that they appear to be improving each week.
Agreed from an insider! To me that is one of the real signs of a good staff. Also of note, someone asked about players not getting PT last year that should have. Well last year we had 5 Sophomores sitting on the bench on Friday nights. They never played. WHY? They should have been playing on JV or playing on Varsity. Those same 5 are now dominant starters on Varsity and as I went through the Varsity Roster this week I realized that every Junior and the one Sophomore (just brought up a few weeks back) all see alot of PT. Several are starters and the others are part of a rotation. None of them are just getting what they call garbage time either. I think that is great. If the underclassmen are not going to play on Friday night they are going to play on Thursday night not sit the bench getting no experience.
 22.
Wasn't aware that the starters were pulled in the Vidor game.  Didn't Harmon score with less than a minute left?
Yes he did, no starters pulled in a closer battle, but I think he was refering to the fact that PNG did not throw a single pass in the fourth Q of the Vidor game because they were just trying to run the clock.
 23. A Vidor loss the next two weeks and Nederland wins out and Ozen splits creates a three way tie. Which goes to a coin toss right, since they would have all three beaten each other?
 24. Crosby has field turf also correct?
 25.
Just thought I'd throw this in.PNG has the most generous schedule w/5 home games before a road game. Both PNG/Central have 7 home games to 3 road games-Best schedule in 20-4A-Whereas LCM has the worst Schedule in one stretch 5 of 6 games on the road.So the tide changes next year for LCM a favorable schedule w/5 of 6 @home.Does PNG start w/5 road games in a row next year?
No we did that last year. Because our stadium was not ready. And we lost all three home games! Next year we will get 4 home, 5 road games and 1 at the Alamodome to start the season. And to be fair, maybe PNG's most dominant two games this season were on the road at Livingston and at Lumberton!
