PAM must of forgot who graduated last year from their team.  And yes it makes a big difference when key position players graduate. not saying PAM is gonna lose, but i know its not going to be a blowout. I won't be surprised if a Central squeezed this one out

not talking about NBA players, talking about High School Kids when i was in high school.  Whose parents live in goverment housing, food stamps,,,,live off the goverment cause they don't make enough, but yet some how can afford to pay for basketballs shoes that cost hundreds of dollars.... kinda like spending money on 22 inch rims, but not spending it on groceries priorities all out of wack

i ve played in a pair of addidas, nikes, reeboks, etc for 40 to 60 bucks and out hooped most people who had on jordans, lebrons, kobes, etc. its a status thing, and its ridiculous.

Wiesbrod will more likely play baseball at the next level.  Wiesbrod good kid good fundamental basketball player that i enjoy watching.  But as far as next level for basketball....maybe at a juco or a division 2 or 3. and i wish him all the luck in the next level. Some people on this site have an emotional attachment to a team and/or player.  YOu gotta see through that to make an accurate assessment of an athlete.

EC's area of concern is LB on Defense I see a deep run, but they will need some things to go their way to make it to state. But overall, a very good football team.  I was fortunate to coach all those kids when they we re in junior High.  A great group of athletes and young men.

Its not's EC defensive you have to worry about this year, its that All state running back.  Though their defense is good, their LB area is an area of concern.  I see EC winning this one

oh my oh my.... agree with u nash.... Judges should throw this kinda crap out and lawyers shouldnt even want to represent someone like this. same crap goes on at BEAUMONT isd....  not necessarily same situation, but parents are looking for easy money.  and beaumont isd settles and so parents win.  this country is in sad shape.....

wow is all i can say about coach of the year. I believe English should have gotten this.  Had less to work with, lost alot of seniors and no one expected them to do as good as they did.

yeah....nederland had a good couple of years.... but central and ozen are about to be the two fighting for top spot some very good underclassmen coming up in both schools anybody know where Nigel from King is going.....im thinkin OZEN

to all you ozen fanatics Bou was a great coach but he also had Perkins and several other D1 players on his team. So without perkins they don't win state. Yall act like because they had some very successful years there that it should be that way every year.  Players like that come every so often.  YOu can't win state every year. Lets be honest OZEN hasn't had any legit D1 players in several years, so guess what your[b][u] not going to win state[/u][/b].....yall wanna blame the coach but heck he can only play the players that come out for the team. IF saveat had perkins and those players yall would be saying he was a great coach...... IN two to three years OZEN will win district and they will have a team good enough to make a state run.... also i heard alot of fans criticizing coach saveat... "let them boys run"  " why is he holding them back" YOU IDIOTS WHO KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE GAME.... Why run and gun when you have another game on friday. YEah its real smart lets run our players legs into the ground by trying to run up the score and turn around and play friday against a better opponent.  The games get more intense the further you get in the playoffs. Great job coach for being smart. all you parents and fans that ain't got a clue about basketball.. Shut YOUR TRAP and watch the game....if you can do better go get a college degree, a teaching certificate, and you become the coach. PUT UP or SHUT UP

Keyword......FRESHMEN.....  can be really good or really bad...no middle ground.  THis is mostly mental toughness so whats it going to be....crack under the pressure of a big game (win you keep going or lose and season is over until november) or play good because youngsters don't understand pressure of a big game so it doesn't get to them.
