Keyword......FRESHMEN.....  can be really good or really bad...no middle ground.  THis is mostly mental toughness so whats it going to be....crack under the pressure of a big game (win you keep going or lose and season is over until november) or play good because youngsters don't understand pressure of a big game so it doesn't get to them.

yeah i watched them in that tournament.....they impressed me with their basic fundamentals and lack of turning the ball over and patience with offense.

Has anybody seen kingwood park play.........i have Central more athletic too many freshman..... Kingwood park....fundamentally sound and good coaching Kingwood park by 10

oh my word.....you nederland and ozen fans are ridiculous.....  Who cares whose favored....  just go out and win the game. truth be told i have ties to nederland and i would like to see them win this game, but right now Ozen is playing better ball and have beat better opponents in the playoffs so yes Ozen should be favored.....get over it. learn to cut your emotional ties from 'your' team and then you ll see the truth

You cant always go by TABC rankings.... im an HF supporter i can tell you they were not the 14th best team in the state...  Liberty came out and punched HF right in the face in the first few minutes of the game.  Hats off to liberty and and good luck against Sealy.....u ll need it cause they are a legit 11th ranked team unlike HF at 14th.

Well a coach should never tell their team during practice or during film that "This team will be easy" no matter if the team is easy or not.......rookie coaches know not to say that....    and instead of having practice she goes and watches sealy..... HF came out like this was goin to be easy....i wonder WHY......LIBERTY came out and SMACKED us right in the face. HF did fight back in the second half....good season girls.

He's tried and convinced some football kids to play basketball too.....he s not telling them to quit football. Its the nature of this area and TEXAS

I know the 7th grade has a relative of a former girls standout Brandi McCain whom played for U of Florida and then played in WNBA...i think he's a nephew....his last name is McCain....pretty good and the lil point gaurd is decent, but very small.

its not the coach and its def. not having the athletes cause they have them.  Its the athletes lack of disclipine and respect....starts at home with the parents.....stop being friends with your kids and start being parents.
