HF 61 evadale 47 Hf s coach is a complete joke...

Coaching lost that game.  Wrong player in the game and what ever that funky match zone defense she has is terrible...there s a reason no one runs that defense in the nation coach should play the best players parents should not sway a coaches decisions to hurt the team

Good question.... it could be a number of things (combination of things as well)        Poor coaching       Parents not pushing kids       Kids not learning the fundamentals at an early age       Kids not having that drive in them to win and to improve       Uncoachable kids.....there's plenty of these the list could go on and on.....

Kenner was the best coach that HF has had. his best year they won two games in the playoffs And yes HF did was co district champs with liberty....HJ had a few down years there.  HF beat HJ pretty easily. HF only lost to Liberty once and Barbers Hill once in the 98-99 season And as far as Parr....whom i played for....wasn't the greatest coach. Good players can hide poor coaching.

Yeah i agree.....don't see them losing until MAYBE the state tournament.... all depends on grades, injuries, and any dumbfounded mistakes a player can make. When someone tells me that this is the best team he's coached....

it wont come out publicly....  and there will be someone else coaching the team.

we need more role models like jerry rice and larry bird....and not ocho(benchwarmer)cinco and terrel(no job)owens

I actually watched the entire game after i found out about this and seen SEVERAL players that did there little celebrations after they got a sack or a tackle or something else and was not given the second look by the ref but when the leading rusher of the game does a penalty as stupid as high stepping, he gets the flag and the ejection. It is plainly obvious that the ref had something against him. [/quote] i have no emotions about it....i could care less either way..... in general I just don't get why players have to selfishly celebrate and bring attention to themselves....if your gonna celebrate...celebrate as a team

King JH this year that will be special....good chance of a state run....givin they go to central and keep their grades up and keep their head on their shoulder

I don't necessarily like the ejection but If he got called for it once already why would he even think about running like that a second time. Is it that hard to run like a normal human being? He tried to push the refs and see what he could get away with....gotta face the consequences. Just because he's on track to break records doesn't clear him of not following the rules and consequences. Just got conformation during his vidor coaching stint... they beat central and nearly beat perkins and company

Learn how to read.  I said "[u][i][b]I THINK[/b][/i][/u]"  I didn't say "THEY DID".... And yes they we re competitive with ozen and central.  And the subject was about how good of a coach COACH ENGLISH is.

Yeah very bad.  English had them competitive with OZEN and Central i [u]THINK[/u] they had some years there were they beat those two teams one out of 2 times.  Even with Kendrick Perkins on the Ozen team....

Saw them against OZEN earlier in the year....was nt pretty for HF nor Ciara

anybody who can turn vidor into a winning basketball team (english) can [size=18pt][b]COACH[/b][/size]  bottom line.

She was defensive player of the year last year and i believe she won it as a sophmore as well for the district.

HJ is for real this year.  If they don't win state i will be surprised

LETS CLEAR THIS UP.  i never implied ozen recruits and im not bashing dove with my comments.  Believe me i would move my kid to a place were he or she would be able to succeed and then be able to move on to the next level.  And i know the coaches resume at HF....yes he's a good coach i never said he was bad....and fear does motivate.....but a coach can't always be negative.  I sat right behind the bench and didn't hear one positive comment.  I played for a negative coach like that in college and it motivated me and not everybody is like me and so my college team suffered cause some teammates couldn't handle the negative criticism. I sure did ruffle some feathers.....  people and their emotions. 

Whats there to explain?  Its self explanatory.  This happens at alot of schools across the nation.  Parents send their kids to schools that are gonna be more helpful in allowing them to be seen by college coaches (athletic reasons).  HF....no basketball history OZEN.....state championship....long playoff runs....sends players to colleges/nba Come on be honest.....What looks more inviting?
