SUMMER CREEK BULLDOGS: THE BEST 4A TEAM OF 2012-2013!!!
cooligan replied to DemDAWGS!'s topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Son, I think it would be better served if you would change your name to DemWit. Either you know very little about football or you are a typical fan that is soooooooooo blinded by your own team you can't see what others have to offer. The team I watched last week, against Vidor, does have a good O, but your D was very suspect. The 2nd week in a row they allowed nearly 500 yds and it caught up with you. If Vidor would have had a couple taller more physical DB's your team wouldn't have seen week 2. It is sad you had to be so obnoxious nearly all on here were rooting against your team. Now learn a lesson, suck it up and most importantly zip it. -
All-District 2012 - The Waiting
cooligan replied to raiderfan2010's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Usually, All-District picks aren't announced until after each individual district teams are knocked out of the playoffs. The selections have already been made though. I hope we don't see 20-4A's selections for another 5 weeks. :) -
BD3 we all know you're playing the sleeping [s]Dog[/s] Cat routine. We know the Panthers will be right in the thick of things coming down the stretch. Nice try though. :D

How about Ned playing a little D and banging the boards more? I don't buy the 2nd game of the season stuff. These BB specialists have done nothing but play BB for the last three years straight, around the clock, with no other interruptions. That is one reason they caught Central and Ozen looking early in district last year. This year all of Ozen and Central's players are already on the court priming for district. Ned will be competitive in district, but their ball handlers are going to have a lot of trouble with the guards from Ozen and Central. Absolutely no aggression last night and young English needs to listen to dad more and start shooting.

I think it is funny too. SC talking smack against Ned when they have GT and possibly Angleton 1st. I don't know much about GT, but I can tell you the SC D I saw last week, will have their hands full with Angleton's running game. The team that beats SC will have to get into a shootout and hope to outscore them. Either one of your potential next opponents can score big numbers too. Should be interesting. Good Luck

NEDERLAND VS. DAYTON BROADCAST/Nederland wins 21-7!!
cooligan replied to WOSgrad's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
It's sad Dayton's coaching staff didn't find a way for Caranco to break the record this year. I'm sure during some of those blowouts they could have settled for a FG rather than a TD. They probably just kept thinking his chances would come later. Unfortunately, later never came and this 4 yr starter came up short. Great kicker and punter. Just may see him on Sunday's someday. Sorry Liltex. I would like to hear your thoughts when you're ready. -

English split his Fresh and part of same played in the Fresh tourney. He wanted his more experienced Fresh to get better competition. -

Perhaps Coach English doesn't want to take a chance on losing to his JV coach. :D -
VIDOR vs SUMMER CREEK D1 ROUND 1
cooligan replied to dustoff03's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
That EP was pretty wild. The ball hit the crossbar, bouced up and hit the lft upright, than bounced off of the top of the crossbar and went over for the score. Just don't see that every day. :D that is when you know things are going your way. -

Don't even get me started about this possum thing. That was just plain ridiculous and irresponsible journalism IMO. -
You can take em HJ and Silsbee ;D

Nederland 9-1 vs Dayton 9-1 Bi-District who you got?
cooligan replied to football04's topic in SETXsports Archived Threads
Lots going on the last few weeks in Bulldog camp. Just expect to see anything. Albritton did a great job this year as a soph. He will continue to grow, but I must say I like Pryor at guard. You just gained 70 lbs, and added more strength and speed. -

Why do I get the feeling we're going to see a more flamboyant Soulja with a little Swag now that BB has started. We're already getting the Double Shades. ;D No kidding, these kids are gonna be fun to watch when they really get going. And they are still so young. Wow!
