man what terrible weather for a JV tourney.....Good thing they canceled it, it twould have sucked for those kids to play it the sun shine with a nice breeze.

This was a complete accident. I was at the game scouting and saw the whole thing. Huffmans pitcher had a no Hitter going and was pitching well then one got away from him. The kid that was hit was 0-2 I believe with 2 K's, which tells me it was an accident. I hope that he is OK as well.

I thought you scored points in football and basketball and runs in baseball??? Just kidding, but i will say Huffman wins behind their hitting, but it may be a 13-10 game. I predict a very high score unless Henk shuts down Liberty's hitting which is possible.

heard Huffman has two good pitchers and the Coaches son (sophomore) who can bring it...Also heard Tarkington's JV dominated last year, how will Coldspring and Splendora be?

This has potential to be a good game. I have seen both teams play and Cleveland is bigger and Faster but it did not appear that they had depth, which is the same for Huffman. Huffman must set the pace and score early to give their team confidence.

Where can you find polls and lines for this weeks upcoming games? I tried to look up the Harris Poll but maybe I am doing something wrong. Can anyone direct me?

The 7th grade is small in both numbers and size. There are only about 25% that have ever played football before. The 8th grade has about 20 players on each team and won 2 games last year. They are descent sized this year because of a couple move-ins but they are ineligible right now but were passing on progress reports so they should be on the team after report cards.

We lost 3 games due to Ike so i am trying to fill in our open week. Who wins this game? I saw both teams play, and thought both looked average. Of course Willis will no do much in their district, where Huffman has a playoff shot. But is this the weekend Willis breaks the streak? If they play the way the came out today it could be a long 4 quarters for Huffman.
