I have a co-worker who’s son attends LCM and is going into the 10th grade next fall. He plays baseball and played football in jr high but not his freshman year. He said Peevey had a meeting with all parents of anyone in athletics and told them he had an open door policy but if the topic of why thier kid wasn’t playing enough or playing a different position then the conversation would be over. He Said the coach stated very throughly he would not tolerate that at all. We shall see. I hope the best for them, but it’s gonna take a culture change from the parents to make it happen.

Well then it will definitely be worth watching and see who steps up!

Well speaking of LCM I’ve heard Peavey is making some sweeping changes over there.

Memory is failing me and I can’t remember who was Pop Terrell's backup last season. Will he be the go to guy this season or is there an up and coming QB who may take over the offense? Anyone have any info?

I think the biggest question is who will be the next HC once Cornel retires? I’m sure many folks personal favorite is Toby Foreman. He grew up a Mustang as was an assistant coach for several years there. I remember him as the ball boy on the sidelines before he even got to high school. Also he relates to the kids very well. Question is would he be willing to leave Shoemaker where he has turned that program completely around? Will they promote someone already there Or will they hire someone outside of the Mustang blood line?

Would have been interesting to have seen how the game would have turned out had WO-S not have the special teams mistakes in the first half. Not taking anything from China Spring but had the Mustangs played the first half with the same intensity as the second who knows what the outcome could have been.

Which is better to watch on Texan Live or NFHS?

Heard the Mustangs will be short handed tonight. Not good. Anyone know what up? Covid? Grades? Not the time of year to be short handed.

I haven’t streamed a game this season on Texan live because I have read where they have had a lot of issues with the stream lagging way behind it not working at all. Have they got those problems worked out. Really want to make this game but looks like I won’t be able. Was thinking about using Texan live but didn’t want to waste my money.

Gilmer coulD have actually won by a larger margin. They had 2 passes dropped in the end zone that would have been touchdowns

I remember that game your referring too. I was there also. I remember telling my wife there’s no way in he** this kid should get to play anymore after that tantrum he pulled.

It was actually 5 but none were detrimental to them. And you are right about only 1 putting them into a long yardage situation. hopefully they can keep that up in the playoffs.
