  3. Go check it out at www.texasfootball.com.
  4. Maybe it's wishful thinking on some folks' parts. I don't see it happening, either.

  6. WO-S will make the playoffs.
  7. Chapel Hill lost to Spring Hill tonight. Chapel Hill is the largest school in the district and it is said that this game would decide whether or not Chapel Hill made the playoffs. Since they lost, it is likely they won't make the playoffs. Gilmer is the next biggest school and will likely be Division 1. Jasper will likely play Gilmer first game of the playoffs.
  8. Even though all of us here in SE Texas know that Silsbee is much better than their record indicates, I think that's the only thing the pollsters outside the area have been paying attention to. Therefore, I think this will only demote WO-S and will not do much to promote Jasper.
  9. The horrible field conditions had something to do with that, too. Jasper's running game was hindered, as well.
  10. If Kirbyville were still in 3A and in a district with Jasper, Silsbee and WO-S like a couple years ago, things REALLY would have gotten interesting!
  11. Congrats Silsbee - you were due one!
  12. Ask this question again after Week 10. ;D
  13. We know Dayton is not this bad nor is Crosby this good. I think I heard someone say on this board "Rain makes good teams look bad and bad teams look good." I'm not saying that Crosby is a bad team. But, I hope ya'll get the point...
  14. My thoughts exactly!

  16. I said last week that people were making outlandish predictions saying that Jasper would dominate Silsbee. I think Silsbee had Jasper on their mind and played like it.

  18. I wholeheartedly agree. I don't know where in the heck some of these outlandish predictions come from. 48-0? Come on?

  20. will not be wos Okay...it's time to let it go.
  21. This has "trap game" written all over it. Silsbee will throw everything at us. Jasper will have to be ready and play like they did again WO-S.
  22. Hamshire's visitors' stands are not complete. So, Jasper has to bring their own chairs! This may have been posted already, but I missed it.
  23. In order to establish that tradition again, we'll have to keep a consistent coaching staff from middle through high schools. This should be a top priority of the AD.
  24. OMG! So, so true. LOL!!!
