Jasper 10's in District 12 are pretty tough...

Jasper will again be hosting the Slugfest 7 & 8 year old tournament JUNE 11th. ALL Leagues / Teams are welcome (Little League, Dixie, Pony, Select). Registration is $150 per team with a three game guarantee.  Teams may coach pitch OR use pitching machine...We had 14 teams last year in two divisions...so sign up early! sounds like the nice new calm soft spoken new silsbee coach has worn out his welcome but this is what happens when you lose I was not that impressed with them when they were winning.

BC will win silsbee is just flat out chocking....

jasper will win by 5 and suprise people

[/quote] no one said mixon did anything wrong read the posts or even second quessed him I didnt know burleson pitched against kville and thought he may be injured... and as far as jasper baseball players getting their heads down it takes alot more than a loss for that to happen....

was somthing wrong with burleson our next district game is tuesday thats 4 days rest?  with desent pitching jasper could have won easy. hard to believe jasper scored 8 and lost. not taking anything away from the kids that did pitch but they are pretty deep on the depth chart.

1. Jasper  (defending champ look salty again this year) 2. Bridge City (great program always around) 3. Hudson  (should be great with the returing starters) 4. Robinson (like hudson alot of returing starters) 5. Silsbee  (they have started good but have to prove they can win when it counts)

burkeville has really fallen over the years from the sports programs to academics its probably time they merge with newton, the kids would be better off.  kids that transfer to other schools are way behind after leaving Bville...

will this game have playoff implications? no  :o

typical jasper team hard nosed and well coached young this year with only 2 starting seniors but jasper will be a tough playoff opponent.
