inconsistancy comes with so many young players coach mixon is coaching his butt off to stay close with the good teams and beating the rest. how many years is the streak up to?

where did the new coach attend high school and college and to be 38 with 4 head coaching jobs is, well, I'm not real sure what that says about our new coach....??

man we are young we ended the game with a freshman @ 1st, freshman @ 2nd, sophmore @ ss, Jr @ 3rd, JR @ pitcher, I wouldnt say were rebuilding but alot of young kids getting experence.

Ty Parker has put the jasper team on his back since tyler earnest has been hurt. I know both ty and jacob great kids great catchers ty may be a better hitter and quicker behind the plate.

??? poised for what. The four strongest PROGRAMS in east texas BC, Carthage, Hudson, and Jasper. These teams will be there every year. You have to beat the big four before going to state. So what are you poised for the first round of the playoffs or the state tourn..

I agree with one statement BC will make noise in may and maybe june but IMO no one else will..

orangefield over jasper or carthage? I dont think so. They will make the playoffs because of a weak district but they wont be a contender. If jasper would have stayed south they would struggle for 3rd. but its great that they are getting some press the young men deserve it.

What kind of shape is the program in comparison to when Brooks took over? worse I think brooks couldnt win more than one game in the playoffs

Well Im shocked the spring schedule for the academy came out and no usssa tourn's just nations. I would guess the tourn sizes will be smaller. We'll see i quess.

You better be ready to play every night but this should better prepare the playoff teams

After watching both teams this year gilmer is more athletic. with that said this game will depend on the wos "D" but I predict a high scoring game much like jasper in the state championship game a few years ago. Wos 49 gilmer 48

Its not lamarque its Jasper and there is interest both ways for ad/hc. and yes Jasper will pay more than lumberton.

I dont think Morgan likes the idea of losing money, the guys in houston that are hosting usssa tournaments are loving life right now because they have never been able to host state tournaments and have never had this many teams. It looks like their will still be as many tourn. just in different places. I will be shocked if morgan doesnt host any usssa's after not having any nations make this fall.
