I've seen coaches coach some players during an injury from his own team and other teams.  I have no problem with this as the rest of the team is on a knee.  But someone made a good point about where this started. I do believe it doesn't matter if your on a knee or not it probably started because the other team was tired and kneeled down to rest...no player likes to see a bad injury because it puts that little bit of insecurity in your head..

Get the broom clean sweep from 7th - varsity Jasper = 158 kville. = 45 Just sayin don't think their is one age group kville can get excited about or look forward to...it will continue to be a down hill slide

I was surprised how many sr as well then we started looking how many of them actualy started besides the o-line and moressey most just play on kick off or not at all....all soph start on defense except walker at qb. That's why were giving up so many points..

99 don't know what game you were at but the thugs are from kville ESP. # 51 flipped off the Jasper fans after a big first down...and again after a td.  The offense line tackled us many times I guess that is what y'all are teaching. I wish Jasper had at least one thug on our team..if you would have acted that way back in the eighties several of your players would have been carried off the field!!!!

Word from jr high is some kid just got out of juvie for pulling a gun during a varsity football game and will be playing for kville tonight...suppost to be a beast..and no it didn't come from a kid..although kville player confirmed it to me..

Jasper is getting better every week and that is all you can ask..Jasper is deeper than kville and it will show in the 4th..kville has been weak in their sub-varsity teams the past few years and beginning this year it will start to show. Even in pee-wee and jr league football kville has real small numbers. The 5th & 6th grade jr league barley had enough to play sat..I think 15 players that doesn't bold well for the future when you consider the 7th and 8th grade also struggle..

Jasper if they haven't already but for sure with a win over kville

[/quote] Last year being the key words..new coaching staff new system new attitude.  New coach has enough balls to kick off 2 starting seniors and replace them with sophomores.  ALOT of soph starting on varsity.  Alverize (sp) new when to get out..

They didn't coast against center was a hard 4 quarter battle, just what the dogs needed.  Hope they can keep their edge, it may be hard to do with cream puff's like hunnington and kville...

Let me say it like this for kville to be competive and make long play off runs they need to drop to 2a.  I have seen all underclass teams their is a lack of talent..with that said they would not make the playoffs in newtons district but will probably finish 3rd and make the post season because of a very weak 3a district..

The under classmen are weak..maybe 2 players per age group. They need to drop to 2a.

Kville is done for this year and future the pipe line has run dry...Jasper will coast to a district championship..

Great win for Jasper maybe this is just what they needed. Kids and fans was into the game great atmosphere tonight coach Morgan showed alot of emotion and seemed to motivate the kids.  I should say both coach Morgans.  Head Morgan looked like he took over the defense focused on them all night. At one point calling time out to run on field and get in face of a linebacker.  Defensive adjustments continued all night.  When the offense was on the field he was huddled with the defense. Proud of kids and coaches great emotion from coaches. Qb made plays when he needed to his best game so far.

Coach Morgan has been fired up!!!! Never in the previous games has he showed this much emotion. I'm liken it...he kicked off 2 seniors after OF game because of attitudes replaced them with soph...so far looking good. But center is more athletic than us and alot faster...

Pirateguy hit the nail on the head if Jasper can't beat orangefield "holy crap" we are better (at least we should be) they are the door mat..and what makes it worse is that's two years in a row...throw in a loss to wos,silsbee,now orangefield...whos next HJ,HF burkeville.  Maybe jhs should have 80's week at high school and they can play back old films so the players and coaches know what we expect...
