at the beginning of the season there was sooo much talk about this district.... we remember how yall put the teams before this season started.... how do u figure it to be now??? my prediction..... 1. wos 2. silsbee 3. kirbyville

who wins these games.... blowouts???.... and why? West Orange-Stark at Hamshire-Fannett Jasper at Kirbyville Silsbee at Orangefield Hardin-Jefferson at Bridge City

but even scrimmages are playd to win... scrimmages r the first competition u get... newton never gave up in that scrimmage... they were fighting to the end and.....considering the DEGREE OF ANGER barbay was at i wouldnt say that it doesnt matter.... if u were on the field then u KNOW what i mean....

"k-ville" isnt getting a big head....every PLAYER on our teams respect the people who we play and are to play.... but i see us honestly as grabbing the third spot in district and maybe sneakin in a second place spot (and we did scrimmage newton too.... that was 21-0, and scrimmaged diboll and dominated that game too where i think that the score actually turned out to be 47-13 i believe) ..... but watch the film.... then u will see that we COULD OF VERY POSSIBLY hung w/ carthage... yes they were faster, stronger, and bigger but we do have heart and we ARE A TEAM. i see us as having a good year but cant say "for sure" about any game... any friday.... can only hope....hope for another great season.... we have bin making records in playoff depth in kirbyville.... hope to continue this new tradition in k-ville!!!!

yes sir... i agree on the three teams but kville has a chance to even get 2nd in district i believe.... if we can catch silsbee slipping then... idk. look at how close newton came and we beat newton 21-0 in scrimmage so.... idk. and i think we have a chance at least to play with them on their good days too

marlin is the main one... just look at what marlon did through receptions to jasper LAST YEAR when jasper was really good!!! he will b eligible for this game im sure.... i hope neways... and yea... hazlewood and musgrove are only sophomores. so is the new guy we have in broderick jackson. he made a BIG impact in last nights game.... look for them to step up. and minter is another player hopeful to return..... hopefully we open up BIG in district.... its something we need to do and that is apparent in a district like this.

nobody is trying to put down the liberty. we know that they have talent. fast runner in #1. and two really big backs.i think that it will b a battle.... that is true

well, i take kville ... obviously. the new kid yall are talking about is a sophomore from humble. broderick jackson. hes pretty good but needs time to learn our offense and is a starter on defense i think. we are prepared tho. its our homecoming and we need to prove a couple of things. we will be alright.

cleveland is 0-3. they have lost 51-12 to kirbyville, 42-14 to hardin-jefferson, and just lost to diboll but idk the exact score... if lumberton loses this one.... well, i'd rather not say... but yea, lumberton takes this one easy

no kidding.... where yall really mess up is putting bc in second place.... i went to the bc game last night and i am telling u that if they play the way they did last night then they will be SOOOO LUCKY to even catch the fifth spot in the district.... much less putting them ahead of us and silsbee even ....... ill say 1. wos 2. silsbee 3. kirbyville 4. hardin jefferson/bc/jasper 7. orangefield 8. hampshire-fannett

idk... splendora is a good team ... i do know this... they just brought in a new head coach (coach nelson) from i think conroe.... they have the kids to win this game and much more... but looking at the previous weeks im confused.... im picking them to win 21-14. they need to start clicking.... they are picked to win their district w/ cleveland and liberty but we will see

these are some good games but i think that i will b headed to jasper to see them.... everybody is talking so bad that it should be something to see

yall talkin bout jack alvarez from kirbyville? he is a great coach. he would do excellent in putting coldspring where they need to b. they probably had the best athletes in the district this year but just no coaching. he is the AD here at kirbyville but idk... i heard that they wanted barbay more (also from kirbyville). barbay used to coach at coldspring a few years ago. his father is the newton head coach who won state this past year. we will just have to see wont we????????

i dont kno if yall saw kirbyville vs. barbers hill this year but that was a GREAT game. kirbyville went up early but then barbers hill came back and then the score just switched over and over. then with 1:19 left in the fourth, barbers hil was down by 2 and had a fourth down and like 12. they were facing either a fourth down attempt or field goal (they were missing EXTRA POINTS all day long so we had no expectations of them kicking at a 43 yd field goal) . newayz, they lined up to kick everyone thought that they must b doing a fake. then , he kicks it and the ball barely clears the field goal by about 3 inches!!!! on the next kickoff, we got the ball but also got a penalty so we were stuck on like OUR 10 with about :59 left. we got to fourh down and then on a rollout picked up a first down jus a little behind midfield. play happened and then play happened. with :09 pierce told drew to hit him down the right sideline because he burned the safety on the play before. it was a prayer. we were down by 1 point thou!! we had to win. drew dropped and gave everything he had to pass the ball. pierce caught the ball on like barber hills three yd line. he actually crossed tha goal line when he flipped forward but they , the refs, called him down on tha three. drew kicked the winning field goal with time running out and everybody went crazy. we were against all odds but pulled it off. thats when tha biggest guys i'd seen in my life started balling their eyes out. on both sides. one for happiness for winning (kirbyville) and the other for defeat (barbers hill)

Tell me what yall think. this is only my opinion though..

sorry to dissapoint u but yea... splendora is a playoff team next year. although they may not of had a great record... they always played close and will be nothing but much better next year.they even lost to barbers hill by like 6 points this year (we, kirbyville knocked off bh for the second time in tha second round in tha past two years) i live in kirbyville right now. one of our coaches, Bryan Barbay , was offered the job at coldspring. but ... he might be the AD in kirbyville next year. who knows??? everybody thinks that alot of our coaches will b leaving . maybe. well ... we will just have to see huh??
