In my opinion, the story of the game was special teams. Danbury had great field position all game long and HD couldn’t find good field position. Penalties once again hurt HD. But all in all HD has some great young talent . Their fill in QB has a pretty good arm and decent feet . Hope they do some QB sharing duties once their starter gets back.

22-6 at the half Hardin winning. I’m not from Jasper but was told by a jasper fan that this jasper squad is all freshman. Is that true? If so, this team has given Hardin varsity fits.

Maybe... I really believe they have some talented skill players. Again, it all hinges on can they stay healthy?. H-D may be considered a bigger 2 A D 2 school but the truth is, their team is about like a 1A school. Meaning, they barely dress out 20 kids if their lucky. When I saw that both Evadale and Dewyville lost to opponents that they most likely should have won against, I thought HD may have a chance to make some noise in their district this season .

H-D will be a 6 or 7 win team this year If they can stay healthy. And if this district holds together, they will be 1st or second every year.

Good. HD should have no trouble running the table then.

H-D played solid for one half. Then lost thier QB. They will make noise in district if they stay healthy. Have fast backs. Hardin In for a long season in my opinion

The only trouble Daisetta will have tonight is they have nearly zero depth. Even if they get a lead early which I think they will, it will be very hard in the second half since they have such few players and Hardin will no doubt have 35 to 40 players.

Man, that’s crazy. I wonder what has been their hang up. Has to be good talent around there.

He never left. He stayed on as AD last year so he could watch his son play his senior year. HD will have a decent squad this year from my observation. I could easily see them finishing second in district. This district is a whole lot better than what we’ve been in.
