The RB is very good but I think that just about everyone has wrote Jasper off. Jasper has a very solid team when their all playing together. I look for a dog fight. Jasper wins 27-20 Go Eagles

All the picks have Newton losing in the 4th rd to Daingerfield. I know Newton is having a down yr but is Daingerfield good enough to go to state and win it?

I still can't beleive the game is in Woodville. I'm not trying to be rude but CC and K Ville are great teams this yr. I know its just bi district but I just dont understand the location on this gm. This will be a packed house for sure. Go Wildcats Go Eagles

They would be a top 5 4a school easily. I'm telling you this is one of the most talked about games in the state of Texas. Like I said earlier, I live in Abilene and Ciscoe is right up the road and there are people over there talking about this game. That is at least 7 hrs from Newton. It just shows you the hype leading up to this game. Go Eagles

I'll never forget my senior yr when the Newton and Jasper game was so big. If i'm not mistaken there was at least 3,500 people at that game. 3,500 people at Singletary Stadium is crrraaazzzy!!!! It wouldn't surprise me if 4 or 5 thousand people show up Friday night. It will be nutts!!! Go Eagles
