I doubt it at the REZ or at their field i dont think it would of made a difference, the boys wanted the raiders to come into the game undefeated so they could beat them and prove to everyone that they deserved to be in the top of the district Every PNG player knows they have a tradition rich history to live up to, its all over the field house and weight room, heck even my kids (5,7&9) can tell you about the Indians, my 5 yr old daughter can sing the fight song better than i can, Pride, Honor, Tradition is something that is taught in the homes as well as the school, and real NDNs stand for cherokee was being thrown around this year also. Want to see how deep it goes come to the Jr MCM game in Ned from Flag on up will be fighting, youll see many of the HS players out there and if it is like last year the spirit showed up along with some of the band to support these kids

I like our pre-season schedule with the exception of Silsbee i would like to play PAM and bring back the rivalry and its a shorter drive also, i really enjoy playing WOS every opportunity we get

Dang not complaining but i would have liked to have played Crosby again now that were a totally different team now

My best memories will include bringing my kids all dressed in purple to all the home games watching them run around on the field afterwards, myson wearing his jersey from the PNGYFL and watching the defense do its work and knowing he had to do the same the next morning,watching my daughter in her cheerleader outfit screaming "scalp em NDNS scalp em" louder than some of the fans close to us and singing the fight song, and my youngest son doing the tomahawk chop and asking me every 5 minutes what they are doing on the field and last but not least converting my wife slowly but surely into a Indian fan (she went to Broadus)bring my camera again for pictures at the old stadium before its history

You can and get to see it close to home as we won the coin toss and play at the REZ on Nov 16th

We were driving for the win when penalties put us out and a good stop on 4th and short(inches) sealed it and then when the kid broke the long run it took the wind outta the sails! Told our kids to hold their heads up they had nothing to be ashamed of, this is almost the same exact team that won the superbowl last year
