I played football at PNG and I played for 3 diffrent head coaches while I was there. In coaching I was on a staff that my head coach was reassigned. Also have been on a new staff coming in after an old coach was run off... The only comment I will make is that things will get crazy over there!!!!! It will take the ALL of the parents support for the new coach or a WHOLE lot of wins to bring this community back together... I'm not saying be disloyal to MB just make sure the new coach...whatever he does...has you FULL support. "whatever he does" - I played for Malone and personally at the time did not like him. But after he left and now looking back...he made me a better player and I thank him for that. Oh yeah and we WON!!!

I hope so. The best atmosphere for a child to learn in is a positive one. And "Nothing makes a community more positive than winning football games!!!!"

Well, I like that he has deep roots in the community but that don't pay the bills or help your retirement!!!! Maybe Lumberton will counter offer what La Marque does and all you people who love him so much can pass the Credeur Bill. Raise your school taxes 2% and pay all of those good teachers. Keep the can of worms closed and celebrate a better ALL AROUND DISTRICT!!!!

You would ONLY have to pay the principal more. He or she has to be the highest payed person on campus. But I do agree. EVERYONE and I mean EVERYONE in the district should get a raise!!!! It's funny people don't blink an eye on spending extra money on hunting, fishing, or their lake house or beach house. Whatever they see as fun. But you try to squeeze a nickle out of them for school taxes that benefit their kids and they FREAK OUT!!!!!!

RINGS, RINGS, RINGS, RINGS, RINGS...5 of them! Do you think him being successful here and going to the first or second round 8 or 10 years is better than. The 3 or 4 years it would take him to win a title with La Marque as a DC. I believe he would open more doors this way and make some money in the process.

Next Monday is what I was told. But he has through the Christmas break to give them answer. And why would you not leave Lumberton to go to La Marque to be a DC. More money...less responsibility...bigger program...more potential...not a hard coaching decision. It may look like it from the outside but if Lumberton is not going to pay up I would leave!!

Was told he will have TOTAL control of off-season and in charge of discipline. That is one of the things that is going to keep him out of the classroom. 3 athletic periods, 2 conferences, and all the support to change the discipline and attitudes over there. Plus 90,000plus...and no AD duties...What more could you want??? And He does not have to live in the district. Pearland 15 minute drive!!!!

Its not lamarque its Jasper and there is interest both ways for ad/hc. and yes Jasper will pay more than lumberton. And you know that Jasper would pay more than Lumberton because...? You don't know that.
