  1. I was hoping for a Facebook live. But they may have shut her down.
  2. Technically 3 events. Regular season, post season, and overall.
  3. Expectations were higher than the previous 2 seasons. Thought we were a solid 3rd place. Now I think 2nd is a obtainable goal. Personally I don't agree with the ranking. Tepper picked us mid season to play in the state championship game. I hope I'm wrong. Would love for them to prove me wrong. I just don't see it. 3 rounds if we line up with the weak sisters. Enough for an extension if you know what I mean. We still have a few more years to get there IMO
  4. Why didn't we play Sheppard JV? Per kogt.com The WOS JV traveled to Silsbee to face the Silsbee JV and won 26-14 #20 Braydon Gipson scored on a 58 yard TD run. Extra Point no good 8-6 Silsbee #20 Braydon Gipson scored on a 34 yard TD run. Extra Point was no good. 12-8 WOS #16 Jyreon Davis threw 31 yard TD pass to #15 Javion Lofton. 2 point play was no good 18-8 WOS #22 Kenz’lee Levi scored on a 3 yard TD run. 2 point play was good by Levi. 26-8 WOS Offensive Standouts: #15 Javion Lofton #20 Braydon Gipson#35 Jahmeel Eaglin #54 K’Den Papilon Defensive Standouts: #7 Micheal Wells Jr #9 Kai’den McDonald #31 Christopher Peck Jr #44 Joshua Bundage
  5. No sir we are not. After official review... no flag on the play. Although I will issue a sideline warning to both.
  6. Week 8 1. Atascocita 2. Lufkin 3. PA Memorial 4. Angleton 5. La Porte 6. Huntsville 7. Lake Creek 8. Huffman Hargrave 9. Little Cypress-Mauriceville 10. Bridge City 11. Vidor 12. Hamshire-Fannett 13. West Orange-Stark 14. Coldspring 15. Orangefield 16. Teague 17. Fairfield 18. Palestine Westwood 19. Woodville 20. Trinity 21. Garrison 22. Joaquin 23. Shelbyville 24. Deweyville 25. Sabine Pass
  7. Read it again in the Yoda voice. Plus I think Aggies summed this up correctly. Honestly when I started crunching numbers I thought WOS would be lower and Jasper up high. Also why I added the others to show the differences in team schedules. For years WOS was downed for playing weak district opponent. Even heard it said that half of the 500 wins were against sub 500 teams. It's doesn't matter. You play the teams put in front of you to the best of your abilities and the outcome speaks for itself. Much respect to Coach Crumedy for testing his young team after an unexpected deep run last season. On the other hand, I wish we were still playing some of our former rivals. But what good does it do to beat up on neighbor OC schools. Now after more research, I see the benifit of Hickman's pre district schedule. We have to build up to where he expects us to be. Can't get the Carthages and Hitchcocks until we prove to be a formidable foe.
  8. Interesting numbers? Opponent's overall win % .639 Silsbee .590 Carthage .568 WOS .556 HF .474 Jasper .378 BC 2 tough games a strong schedule does not make
  9. They need to reconfigure the algorithms
  10. That's what I thought. Better pitcher than qb
  11. This could be a rest in the 2nd half game. But we can't look ahead to the trip to Silsbee next week. We've been surprised before when it's looks easy. Shepherd has played well so far. They come in with a 2 game win streak. Holding on to a 3 way tie for 1st. They scored 50+ in their 3 wins. 34+ in the 3 losses. WOS defense allowing 22.8 ppg. It's closer to the traditional numbers expected from the Mustangs. Helps when the offense is able to take advantage of those stops. If we can clean up the little things and keep the coaches off the field 👀, maybe those untimely flags can stay off the turf. #every second counts
