They don't play any of our old head traditions anymore. Lincoln was the most fun game for us in the band. We loved watching them have fun out there. They'd almost "make love" to their drums.

We did for the scrimmages. But we combined last week vs Newton. Thought that was because Newton only has JV. Actually since Ned has 2 freshman teams, I doubt they wanted to combine. Seems like the new coach wants plenty of playing time for the puppy dogs. And I'm sure we'd gladly combine again for the JV game Thursday. Playing up makes things like this happen more often than not.

There's a really good reason for that. Some staffs don't push away help. Some seek it and reap the benefits. Now I know Buna ain't nothing to brag about. Seems like we say that everytime we have a senior QB. I don't no if the backup is better now. I did see him make some big plays at the scrimmage. Just needs to get playing time. Kinda like the JV RB.

From what I saw on the FB stream it looked packed. And considering the weather it was a great showing of support. Now this week we everyone to show up and be loud. Nederland is gonna bring the whole town for this one. They think they've found their Joseph. Even @Reagan is sporting the gold again and waiting for the hardware to be lifted in December... just jokes my friend. Hopefully one of us has an elite in the making. As long as I can remember we've had a great rivalry with Big Ned thanks to Uncle Larry and DRHooks. We lost all our OC rivals and PNG has moved up a notch too.
