How often do HS coaches make the jump to college? Other than todd dodge and that didn't last too long. Just strange that the 2 big names mentioned are currently on the HS level.

Thanks I forgot about that. Yet another loss. Silsbee lost 4 games by an avg of 16 pts. Those 4 teams have a combined win rate of 72%. WOS only lost by 6 to then #1 ranked Newton, who ended the season with a 84 win %.

Newton hammered silsbee 52-21. WOS lost by 6. Teams can learn more from a loss than a win. WOS seemed to turn it up after the loss.

Good read. I'd love to see lamar have to consistently competitive program. The coaching situation hasn't been too good since they started back up. The talent in setx shouldn't have to go across the river to mc neese. It all starts with the coach. Hire a winner. Just curious as to who else is even in the conversation?
