Quick look at the radar shows rain should clear out of the triangle before game times. But could still be hanging around up north. Nothing like real grass and actual mud. Figure its gonna be a low scoring game due to field conditions. Not 100+ combined like last year. O line will have to dominate for us to have a chance tonight.

Unless I make a mistake or the game time is changed, all pickem games are scheduled for Friday nights. Until playoffs of course. Then I still prefer to avoid the Thursday games and use Saturday's if needed.

The defense has improved over what we saw last season. That was worst defense in school history. Giving up avg of 25 ppg. I don't think anyone will score 50 on us this year. Maybe 43. Cuz u know they'll have to go for 2 at some point. Especially if we're putting 8s on the board consistently. Remains me of the LCM game in BC couple years ago. 5 8s beat 6 6s.

Not this week. I like to spread it around during pre district. Looking ahead I see a few times PNG that will be included. And they should have more opportunities vs quality opponents in the playoffs. I'll go ahead pencil in the game next week vs United so we don't offend such a great fan base. Although that could just as easily be considered a freebie. I welcome any request. If anyone feels that your team hasn't been included please let me know.

After talking to someone who just graduated, I agree. This the last group of seniors who had any instruction from the previous staff.

My friend 50 D may have caught the FB stream. I was there for both. Less penalties but still no discipline. Sideline completely emptied. Where was the leadership? Running in the field too. Not one stayed to corral the young Stangs. They should've ran stands after that. Not just the players. That would be worth the price of admission and possibly a sellout to see that in person.

I've been reminded there was a lot of copy cats on the pickems last season. You can send them directly to me thru the PM or request them to be hidden. It's easy to put "PLEASE HIDE" at the top of your picks. This can be done by any Mod. But there could be a delay if no Mod is on to see. I hope this can help. If anyone else has an idea I'm open to suggestions.

58-54... that's how it went last season. But that was week 4. HH actually undefeated in season openers. When we get to week 11, we should call it 1 again. If BC really shut down Newton then I'm very concerned. Maybe the eagles didn’t need the practice and sat the starters in preparation for week 1. What's the chance we get a live stream Friday night?
