"What difference, at this point, does in make?"
-
Any of you nutjobs agree with this republican?
shovel replied to westend1's topic in Political Forum
Hey Westend, I'll play along... Ms Grove said that aTexas was in its worst drought in history until Governor Perry signed the fetal pain bill. It started raining that night. What more proof do you need? Seriously, I wish the media would call out all kooks from both parties. -
Y'all made me laugh. Thanks guys!
-
I saw this on facebook. One of the Moms lost her mind over this. Saying her daughter was traumatized and such. Lots of drama over something silly.
-
I'm not sure what to believe. I read the knives accounted for are pocket knives and the chains were attached to wallets. Like Ferguson and Baltimore, the real story is turning out different than what was originally reported.
-
Me too, baddog. The Rockets need to throw a blanket over Curry, although he could still make 3s anyway. I'm hoping the Rockets are ready to play and it will be worth staying up for!
-
I'm no conspiracy theorist or anti-police... but this mess is starting to smell bad. No officer was injured. Not even a minor injury reported. How is it in a gunfight the casualties are all one sided? I remember something like this went down in Waco once before...
-
I agree king. Not the same Rockets at all. If I were to bet, I'd take GS in 5. Saying that, I'd have made the same bet with the Clippers. I hope I'm wrong again here, too... The Rockets were fun to watch the last couple of games!
-
I like your list Pats... I will add the Bama-Auburn Iron Bowl if the SEC West was on the line. I've lost my desire to be at an LSU game at night.
-
You missed the point, again... While the Westboro idiots might be extreme, they haven't killed anyone!
-
No, Saban still has a handle on it. Maybe he needs to recruit better girlfriends for his players? I just read the Saturday Down South writeup on Facebook. The memes in the comments are some of the funniest I've seen. Parole Tide!
-
You are talking football right? Tennessee the lone wolf from the SEC? Arkansas for the dark horse? Buddy, I don't know what your drinking, but it sounds fun! Save me some!
-
Good luck getting traction with that idea.

Smitty, I suspect you know the answer, but I will play along anyway... Go to obamaphone.com for all your answers. This program is paid for by the fees collected on YOUR cell phone and home phone bills. Follow the money - Carlos Slim of Mexico (owner of Tracphone) is making the most money off this program. While the idea for this program is sound, it is wrought with fraud and abuse.

Cruz -- First Top-Tier Conservative Candidate Since Reagan...
shovel replied to smitty's topic in Political Forum
Smitty, I agree with that headline. I'll go as far as to say that Cruz is more conservative than Reagan. Saying that, the Cruz record is short so the measurement is mostly on rhetoric alone. I don't remember Reagan being as conservative as what he is now portrayed. We must remember that Reagan came on the hell of Nixon, Ford and Carter, so it is easy to see why he is remembered fondly. -
Everybody at OU from President Boren to the athletes and students are trying to fix this debacle and move forward. The best articles I've read on this matter were the one you posted from Bob Stoops and one from Barry Switzer's perspective. As usual, there are more good people than bad ones. Sometimes it takes throwing out the bad characters to see what the good ones are doing.

That is probably the most honest statement I've read in these political forums. The old guard Republicans don't want any free-thinking, young, hot shot first year senator as the face of their party. They'll trot out another same old John McCain clone that got beat in the last two Presidential elections. I hope the Ted Cruz and Rand Paul type can prevail, but will have to watch and see.

Stop the Browns please
shovel replied to Mr. Buddy Garrity's topic in Professional Sports- NFL, NBA, MLB, Etc
I never could like the Titans after Bud Adams screwed over the city of Houston and ALL Oiler fans. I wouldn't care if the Titans became the new version of the Cleveland Browns! -
Hippy, I looked at the Basstrak on the last day of the tournament. The 2nd place finisher fished West of I-45 in Clear Creek. He ran for two hours to get there. Others fished the Calcasieu River backwaters way North of I-10. Some fished within a mile from the launch. Very interesting stuff!

I can't think of any possible Republican candidate that makes liberals foam at the mouth and convulse like Ted Cruz does. Well, maybe Ted Nugent, but anyway... Ted Cruz is one of the only candidates I can think of that has done exactly what he promised. He campaigned on repealing Obamacare, and he hasn't let up since elected. I honestly believe that the mainstream press will do everything possible to discredit Ted Cruz. He knows this and chose to forge ahead anyway. May God bless Ted Cruz!

This argument has been thrown around for decades now. While I have been critical of Gilligan in the past (mostly for not recruiting in his own backyard), you have to look at his body of work as a whole and the constraints he has to work within. Lamar has a fairly small budget and not a lot of support. Overall, Coach Gilligan has done pretty well. Change does not equal success.

The problem with 3rd parties is they seem to draw a lot of kooks. Think Libertarian or Green parties. While I lean Libertarian, they offer worse candidates than the major parties. I guess there is the-rent-is-too-damn-high party...

The Raiders released Schaub. I wonder if Cleveland gives him a shot? -
I've been looking for the low sugar moo bars for a couple of weeks. Glad I didn't find them!

I'd love to see Gurley with a star on his helmet!
