No, we had set them up but we did not know that Silsbee had already set up a guy of there own, (the same company that did the superbowl in Kelly Stadium a couple of years ago) and he is doing it for free at $15 a DVD verses $500 and $25 a DVD with some of the money going to Silsbee who is also paying a $1,000.00 for the stadium so we cancelled Sheffield as Silsbee is hosting and we did not wish to step on there toes. Thanks, and you are right we do have some good players, but it is alarming at how low our morale is this season with key players quiting due to decisions being made that are as far fetched as can be, and a system that even the kids understand is not what they can be successful in. How is it that these kids can have success year after year then do what they have done this season? Some say its not the coaching but how can you explain the long drought we had before Dewight Bickham then out of nowhere we start winning and having playoff appearances. How can we beat successful programs all the way up to varsity then get pounded? Well I feel that it is because the system changes, but I evidently do not understand maybe it is over my head, but how can we be competitive when we say the heck with it lets not have practice your last week of football, or when you tell the JV you haven't been working hard so we are going to cancel your last two games. Please someone find an old redneck coach that has a disire to win and the strength and insight to play the best kids with a smash mouth tactic and a little tobacco juice on his beard and send him to Deweyville, as the popular or the (in) systems don't work here, especially a 50 Defense that gets exposed and picked on off the week side weekly.

Well thanks Pa papa! No, just going to have only one ref show up so I can do some illegal stuff and get away with it while he only watches your kids. Then I will wave my magic wand over my 4 seventh graders two of which are first year players and transform them into 8 or 9 seventh graders and them sprinkle pixie dust on all of them to make them 13, then I will have them shave and teach them more illegal (cut) blocks and how to be sorry and onside kick, then best of all I will teach them how to hit hard! a big no no. Of course all of this is possible by hand picking them, all 14, one of which came to me after Mauriceville released him because he was no good then I made him a cheater and he now starts at tightend and corner back. Then I will have C.L give me hand signals from your sidelines and make Mark side with me as he endorses all my other sorry activities. Then I will soundly beat you. It's Big Poppa! Sorry!

Barry the gumbo was great, and you are right the games all day for the most part could have went either way. I can't remember the last time we had that many tight games throughout the playoffs. Hats off to everyone we had some really good coaching this year and a great time. For what my opinion is worth which is not much, I would like to say that the most improved coach this year was Kelly Shaw he did an outstanding job with his team and play calling. I have been at this a while now and for a Junior coach with no more time under his belt than he has to be down or in tight situations and stay focused and committed to sound football is very impressive, most people panic then comes the double reverses and the deep ball, Great job Mr. Shaw
