I hope Newton doesn't win by no more than 35, after that big of a gap I lose interest in the game but if you like blow-outs, go south to Refugio. I hear they kick on-side kicks being up by 35 and still passing when they are up 70-7. Last week E. C. got in quick-sand and I hope there team can realize that it can happen to a good team. then blow it off and come back next friday ready to play. JMHO

Amen, Heavenly Father , I ask you to put a hedge of protection around these football players, coaches,umpires,band player & drill teams, cheerleaders ,parents of all, and spectators. I pray for the games to be enjoyable and all to be blessed!Amen!

I am in an area where their are alot of hogs so I use about 1/4 of a bale of Alfafa. some deer love it and other places, it might ruin. anyway hogs don't like it and crows,doves and raccoons seem not to bother with it either. I have had some good luck with it anyway.

E C never beat Curtis Barbay, They have beaten Newton the past two years but not Curtis Barbay.

Newton will have to play a level higher than they have been playing to win this game.I just don't know if the coaches can get through to the kids that rankings doesn't give you free pass or overs. in golf a mullet or whatever. East chambers is the district champion and Newton will fight it out for a play-off spot if they don't play at a higher level. East chambers 35-21. I hope Newton will prove me wrong.jmo

This game will be brutal and punishing for both teams. Both teams just come straight at you, they don't worry about finesse  just power football. I would pick Bridge City because they have a bigger talent pool. Bridge City 28-Buna 14

Are you saying Newton, Kirbyville & Gilmer are weak. that would be kinda way off out there. Silsbee is a rivalry game for Jasper and Newton & Silsbee split the last two games with each other. Newton and Jasper has somewhat of a rivalry being 15 miles apart. Kirbyville is a rivalry game for Jasper also and I really question what is wrong with Gilmer  unless it  is travel distance. jmho

I think it is to early. Newton is young on offensive line and it takes time to work out some things.We could be pretty good if the injury bug don't hit. There are 2-3 teams that could be pretty good. I will know more by the end of october.

Newton 35 to Liberty 7 if Newton just plays sound football. If they get cocky,could be problem. I just don't know if this group is cocky or matter of fact.jmo
