1. Gotta be Townley for Offense. Huffman SS/LB Corey Spray should be in the mix for Defense. 15 tackles, 4 tackles for loss, and an interception.
 2. Should definitely be the Anahuac Gators....not the Panthers.

There are no WOS fans bumping their gums like this or making comments about being "as good as any team in 22-3A". How do you know you would beat BC (which is what you are insinuating)? What has Huffman done to become such a Juggernaut all of the sudden? Oh yeah, your best team in the last 20 years barely beat a rebuilding Silsbee team last year... I forgot... Or was it because you only LOST to CS by 17???? Hilarious...  ;D I don't think Huffman would get into the playoffs in 21-3A.
Haven't done much on the state scene nor has any team in 21-3A lately. What they've done is build a winner in their last 7 years in 3A. Something for Huffman fans to be very proud of. They have great kids and continuity within their program even though they lack a lot of athleticism that some of you nay-sayers have. They will handle Silsbee and it won't take 6 interceptions to do so B.C.!!! If they happen to pick off 6 passes they just might put more than 6 on the scoreboard. Huffman held Coldspring to 20. (55 average) If B.C. can hold them down to 40 I'll buy #99 for B.C. dinner! If the All-World WOS can hold them to 40 down the road I'll buy Coach K for WOS dinner. Trust me that's putting something on the line! 2009: 22-3A 2    21-3A 1 2010: 22-3A 2    21-3A 1 2011: 22-3A 2    21-3A 1

The head offical I thought was going to fall out he couldnt even keep up with play.
Are we talking about the same refs that blew a CS player down on a clear fumble and recovery by Huffman? Not to mention that CS scored their first 8 points on that drive. So since you are now +8 with these horrible officials, how many points did they cost you by no-calls?
I am not saying they cost us anything plus it dosent matter games over, I am just stating a fact the were horrible and I would hate to go to any game they were calling. If you thought they called a good game either you are related to one or dating/married to one.
I could agree that they weren't the best, but point is they didn't put points on the board for Huffman and arguably put 8 up for Coldspring. This was probably more of a response to whoever said the refs kept it from being a blowout. As many times as Huffman may have held #52, #70 for CS held everyone. That being said, Coldspring has one heck of a defense that will give everyone fits in the playoffs. #44 and #52 are two kids that could play on any defense in Texas. Good luck in the playoffs and another 60-0 over Liberty wouldn't bother me too bad either!

 6. Duane Mena #19 Huffman-Hargrave vs. All-Mighty Liberty 13 Tackles, (8 for loss) 5 sacks, 3 QB pressures and a forced fumble.
 7. Well one of them scored three TDs on your Tigers in the playoffs last year!! I know you didn't forget him already  8) I'll take him 10 days out of the week over JJ.
 8. So Liberty believes that Porter and Kelly are higher quality opponents than a Kashmere team that scored 20 on Sealy, 14 on Huffman, beat Needville 34-13 and lost to West Columbia 36-24? Friday night sure will be interesting. I'm wondering how much we will hear from these guys next week? Good luck to both teams. Anxious to see who will be eating crow!
I can't give a number, but more than you'd think. As far as officials go, there were bad calls for both sides. I'd say I saw both coaches screaming at them evenly... that may be my favorite part of HS football. [/quote More than you'd think???? Huffman has one two-way player, Witwer. That's it. Lay off of the silsbee coaches. They had mcdaniel and the offense in position to win, but #2 Potter was in the right spot like he was most of the game. Great game for both teams. Good luck to Huffman.
 10. Huffman wins 55-12. Coach Price's guys played hard.
 11. Witwer was 2nd team Receiver and Defensive Back. Congrats Joel on a great season! It was very surprising that Johnson wasn't even on the honorable mention list. Also, Cole DeBerry. Both had outstanding seasons.
 12. QB Cole DeBerry Huffman (48-28 win over Splendora) 10-17 233 yards 5 TD 9 carries 83 yards TD
 13. Joel Witwer of Huffman WR/DB 6 Tackles, Forced Fumble, 2 Interceptions (One for TD) Also: 6 Receptions, 166 yards, 2 TDs
 14. Joel Witwer - Junior @ Huffman 160 plus yards receiving 3 TDs (Game winner in final two minutes.) 2 interceptions on defense.
 15. Anyone know how this one came out last night?
