Pryor never ran for public office, much less the presidency. I think understand and appreciate jokes. The question is, “Where would that joke be appropriate in your opinion”A PTA meeting? Told by the mayor at a city council meeting? Church?

You might want to check with the 250,00 or so Puerto Rican voters in Pennsylvania before you claim it won’t hurt him. His campaign knew Hinchcliff’s MAGA shtick and obviously made no attempt to warn him off strong remarks. That wasn’t his only disgusting racist joke. The apology is not going to get any traction. Maybe if Trump apologized but we all know that he is incapable of expressing contrition. I mean, I heard him with my own ears that concerning religion and forgiveness, he could think of nothing he would have to ask God to forgive form for. I witnessed that. If you’re cool with that, try that testimony next time you go to church.

Regardless, locker room talk belongs in the locker room.

Many people have said…

Please watch from 2:30 to 2:50 and justify that joke being told at a public political rally where some minor children were probably present.
-
He talked at length about dead golfing great Arnold Palmer’s. I guess he thought he was being cool since he was in Latrobe, PA, Palmer’s home town. He’ll protect the women, though, so don’t you worry.
-
No, he doesn’t. The only way Republicans win anymore is by lying. A vote does not define a position. Many times for and against votes are because of bill riders or earmarks. The workings of the system is of no interest to lying liars. Lyin’ Ted is second only to the Liar in Chief, Orange Head Don.
-
That is a lie perpetrated by a desperate Cruz.

MAGA will top out at 43% max. Fewer voters will turn out for Trump this time, maybe fewer than 2016. The enthusiasm factor is virtually nonexistent in the Republican Party right now. Trump’s rallies are low energy and the stuff he talks about will thrill most of the 43% but it’s not going to pick any new votes up. His third tour with the same (even more) extreme act is bombing this time. That coupled with the fact that the DNC has probably a 10-1 advantage over the RNC in the number of campaign field offices nationally indicates that a well organized boots on the ground strategy is going to outperform Lara’s social media and boat parade strategy. I think it may be over by the time the polls close in the Central time zone.

Is it cool if the church is a Mosque? I mean, if you’re a two parent hard working financially responsible family.

Where were you?

I sincerely hope you voted Allred. No confirmation expected.

In that we agree.

Here you go. It was a preformance act. All those protections already existed. Read Nadler’s statement, if you dare. [Hidden Content] -
That’s relatively old news. Biden has kept or instituted targeted tariffs for specific industries. He has never touted tariffs as revenue generators. Trump believes (apparently) that tariffs are paid by the country they are levied against. That is a lie. So keep on with your apples to Orange comparison. The lies of Trump will out eventually.

There’s a lag both ways.

I saw it. It was entertainment, not a demonstration of Presidential leadership. The comment itself is not offensive. Locker room talk. The President of the United States should not speak publicly from the locker room. That comment may cost him PA.
-
Now that you mention it…that will be quite impactful. That’s what they paid before Trump and they were doing fine. That’s what they paid under Clinton and did great. A part of the economic policy that produced the only balanced budget in FOREVER!
-
Didn’t mean to imply you are. I was speaking of the ideology.

“TDS” has become the cheesiest deflection in the history of the world.

Latrobe, PA 10/19/24 I’m posting no link to this absurd obscenity because I saw and heard it with my own eyes and ears. It’s easy to find on the web if you haven’t seen it. What fascination does Trump have with Arnold Palmer’s junk and why does that sort of comment have any place in a campaign rally? Is it a new policy? Obscenely perverted. The man is losing his mind, and someone talking that kind of trash at a public rally has no business leading this or any other country, democracy or no. He ain’t even fit to be a freaking dictator.

I have no doubt of that. I’m questioning the difference in the party’s ground game compared to years past. Lack of Cruz signage is what really surprises me. I think it was 88% in 2020. It’ll be north of 80 again, but my question concerns boots on the ground and turnout. I’d guess he won’t get as many votes this time in Hardin County. A 6 or 7 point reduction here will bode badly for his campaign nationwide.
