Do you not understand the concept of severity, versus frequency? 60,000,000 flu cases are frequency. 12000 deaths to 60000000 infections is a very low mortality (severity) rate. So far in US, 89 deaths to 4500 or so infections is about 2%. 2% of 60000000 would produce 1200000 deaths, 100 times greater than 12000/60000000. Very high severity rate. So, call it what you will, but scoff at your own peril.

Well, the glaring difference is the state is the economy in 2009 vs 2017. Remember how trump promised that growth would offset tax cuts? He was wrong. Good economies are supposed to raise tax collections and lower deficits. As the economy improved under Obama’s leadership the annual deficit did, in fact, decrease. Instead of pointing a finger at someone else, try explaining trump’s lies and distortions.

While I agree that to succeed, it must come from a viewpoint of pure equality, my perspective is not one of inferiority. My perspective is that minorities, particularly African American, were denied educational opportunity for centuries, and only received access to “equal” education in the 1960’s. When you start a 100 meter race 30 meters behind the start line, how do you ever catch up? Even exceptional athletic superiority won’t win that race.

You think affirmative action had no effect on those positive changes you’re talking about?

Democrats do not hope to profit off of suffering. That is a bald face lie by the Breitbart cabal to preserve trump’s persona as a victim, and continue fueling the country’s division and mistrust of one another. Trump and his administration’s ineptitude is what will lead to their downfall. His narcissism prevents him from even recognizing problems with his leadership style or of those he has ordained as worthy in the appointment process.
