Momentum is a killer in games like this. Every time we had an opportunity to change it, we threw a pic or dropped a pass. We just didn't make the plays and they did. Thank you Broncos for another great season and everybody should be on notice, Dayton only gets better next year.

I think your right, Merka should do well in college. Crosbys lack of players playing at the next level has alot to do with coaching. If your not that good as a team then individual atheletes don't get alot of attention. 28-0 this year over Dayton might have gotten Merka a few extra looks. Anyway, enjoy your one win per decade because next year you won't be so lucky. It won't matter that Merka is still there, the broncos would take y'all to the woodshed 9 out of 10 games. That's alot of beatdowns.  ;D

They will hang around untill they recieve that Dayton beat down they are so used to getting and then they will crawl back under a rock and lick their wounds.

Great season Png. These kids should hold their heads high knowing there's no quit in this team. These young men deserve the fan base they have and will be back next year.

Good game Vidor. Dayton has yet to put 4 quarters of football together but when they do it will be impressive.

This will be a good tune up game for Dayton. I really don't think 20-4a is all it cracked up to be. Dayton never missed a beat in that district and I don't think it would have changed this year. Dayton 35-14

That was a good win for Dayton with alot of young guys in there. Man what a third qtr for the offense. I was very impressed with the BH recievers. They flat out catch the ball in traffic or not. I'm just glad they didn't start passing like that a little sooner. BH qb also looked very good. Good game against a good team. The Old River Shootout lived up to it's name.

I do believe that BH is up 2-1 vs Dayton on this group, with the one Dayton has coming via a ;missed PAT. We will see----but this group is gonna be one to watch I have heard some coaches say this freshman group is the most talented group they have seen since they've been in Dayton .

I was told by a very good source he would not play this week due to uil rules that say after a concussion a player can't play or practice for 7 days. Friday would be 7 days , but I wouldn't think he would play without practicing all week.

Or your buddies lived on the "right" side of the road and you lived on the "wrong side".... just depends on how you look at it! I was wandering how long that would take.

Please don't start that, questioning the play calling is questioning the coaching. Dayton is well coached and the play calling has never been the problem. We have to hang on to the ball, if a player can't he isn't going to get the ball handed to him. I don't think saying it's predictable is questioning the coaching although I respect your opinion. Maybe me being as big a fan as I am and seeing the fomation from my seat at the stadium , I know what they are going to run when other folks don't . Trust me , I know we have one of the best coaching staffs in the state. I really would like to know just how many fumbles #22 has because I really do think he is capable of being a very good back. If he is able to carry some of the load it would help with the health of our quaterbacks.

By the way, I love "THE OLDRIVER SHOOTOUT" . I grew up on Countyline Road and had alot of buddies that went to BH just because they lived on the wrong side of the road.

I dont think we really know what that soph. runningback can do. I think the coaches lost confidence in him early and dont hand the ball off to him enough. He needs carries to get better just like a qb needs to throw a little to get better at passing. Sometimes i think the playbook is too predictable because we dont hand it off enough. # 22 is only going to get better when he gains some confidence in himself and he can only do that if he gets more carries.

I don't think it matters who the QB is for Dayton , the Broncos will win by 14 or more. The Broncos at home after a bad loss to Crosby spells buttkickin for the Hill. Yall come to Dayton and watch the feathers fly. Good luck to both teams and pray for no more injuries.

As bad as I wanted Dayton to win , iwas a little scared they would. Dayton has used this game well in the past to make deep runs ithe the playoffs. I predict once again Dayton will be playing football while FW is gearing up for basketball. I hope we keep them on the schedule , if nothing else for the karma!!!

Things are falling right in place for another good playoff run. I have to admit I wanted dayton to win so bad, but I was also afraid they would. Loosing these games to FW has lit a fire under the Broncos butts the last few years and I'm sure it will do it again. If I had to take one of these teams and play in Dec. , I think I would take Dayton because of the coaching they will get between now and then. I met some folks from FW in the press box, extremely nice folks. Enjoyed the game and hope FW stays on are schedule for awhile if for nothing else , the karma!!!!!!!
