I don’t understand the point. Nobody here makes the BU schedule. Beating an irrelevant horse to make what point? BU has been to 3 state championships in a row. I think the man knows what he is doing. BU plays a soft pre-district schedule this year….. and? 3 state title games in a row, I’m sure Coach Green doesn’t care at all what the message board and middle school coaches think about his scheduling.

I would put it at OF -12.5, but I also haven’t seen alot of Buna this year. Just based on who they have back.

I predict that the Kountze will have the same players at the end of the season, as they do tonight when they open up district with Hardin. Nobody here is concerned with the mess that some try to stir up. I think we have done enough singling out of kids as well. Send the letter, have somebody else send a letter, sign it with a cool nickname, but let's get back on topic.

That may well be true. But that’s what he thought was best for his team. He’s traveled the road, that’s the path he wants I guess. He may be thinking they are in for a long season. 15 games more than most. He may think it will have them fresh and ready. I wouldn’t know I’ve never come close to his level of success

I’m not going to question the man that’s led BU to the mountain top. Whatever his method is, keep on keeping on!

It’s not real strange to go from a play in game last year to 1st this year. They didn’t graduate anybody from a team the best EC in EC. Orangefield and Buna were both loaded with Seniors. It will be interesting to see how the Orangefield and Kountze games go this year without a team full of seniors against a bunch of 10th graders. But let this “open enrollment” excuse start early. All guidelines looked to have been met seeing how the transfer keeping people awake played football this season.

Halftime La Porte 40 Kountze 36 Summary so far, fast paced and physical. Everyone has 3 fouls, two teeth knocked out, both sides have shot it well. Sells should be well rested after sitting the last 6 minutes of the first half. Should be an entertaining 2nd half.
