  1. Correct. I was surprised on the selections that year, I’ll say that. Thankfully he’s left 0% doubt ever since.
  2. It’s his district, everybody else just gets to play in it.
  3. Kountze and Hardin moved to Monday 11:00 and 12:30
  4. I’ve never seen anything like it.

  7. He’s special. Hes got 4 more games to go today. I had to give him a hard time during the Boys Primary game this morning lol Kountze got the W in that one in a 23-16 offensive clinic.
  8. Mason Donald led all scorers with 33. Sells finished with 18 after a 5 point first half Lowe-16 points Warren finished with 10 points 13 rebounds in limited minutes due to foul trouble
  9. EC played their butts off. The first half, Kountze really struggled from the field, lots of in/out of the bucket, but EC was effort and intensity played a part in it. They really got up for this game and it had a playoff like atmosphere. 2nd half Kountze started to knock down a few more shots and EC was really having to work for good looks. Good game here in the Den tonight.

  11. The 4 seed likely comes down to Buna/Anahuac. I think they played round 1 already and I believe Anahuac won that one at home.

  13. I watched the Jefferson/Tatum game. Cole I haven’t seen this year, just based off coaches opinions. So you don’t think they are top 3 either… ask my opinion, poke holes in it, then not give yours? Nobody is taking a win away from Silsbee. They beat a solid Hitchcock team.
  14. #11 Jefferson #10 SA Cole, I would have said #9 Chapel Hill could be in the conversation, but I saw their best player walk off the court and outta the gym during a game at the Tenaha tournament. Jefferson is very good and just starting to get some love in the rankings. Which ones you got?
  15. I think it’s fair to say Hitchcock’s #3 ranking has a lot more to do about their name, and success of the past rather than the product they put on the court this year. With all due the respect to the defending champs, they aren’t one of the top 3 teams in 3A.
  16. Not sure on Silsbee specifically, but I know what attendance sometimes looks like at the under levels when school is not in session
  17. What was the deal with the fan issue @AggiesAreWe
  18. You beat me to it. I do enjoy the all time lists people try and make. It keeps the past alive haha. But I agree. When I think of best of all times at specific schools or in high schools, I try to limit the scope to the player they were in high school and their impact at the high school level. Some times it coincides with college success and sometimes it don’t. All time scoring lists and best players also are not the same.
  19. He did everything he could. They didn’t get much from 12 or 15 but 1 was dominant with his energy
  20. I haven’t got to see them in person yet this year. I know they was pretty young last year. I’m a big fan of one of their guards.
  21. I’ll take both of the home teams in two very close games.
  22. Silsbee/Hitchcock and OF/EC the two I am most interested in. Not sure what to make of Hitchcock. Injuries have gotten them I know but they have been all over the place so far. Havent seen EC in person this year, but I imagine this game is for 2nd and 3rd.
  23. No doubt, those are some big wins. Tatum definitely worthy of that #2 ranking. They got a hell of a squad. #1 (Zigler) I think is his name, my new favorite player.
  24. He’s got a talent for stealing the ball I haven’t seen in a high school kid. Hell of a player, and one of the best kids you will ever meet.
