Hardin up 19 to 7 in the second quarter. Hardin recovered 2 different onside kicks but were offsides on both. Anahuac has no defense, linebackers are non-existent. Very undisciplined team. Not what I was expecting this season.

Anahuac is undisciplined. The defensive line is too big and slow and the linebackers are non- existent. OF can run up the middle whenever they want. IMO.

AP—too many turnovers—too many penalties—last year averaged around 30 points a game—the last 2 games this year only scored 15 in each game. We should beat Tarkington, and if Hardin can beat Buna we’ll get the last playoff spot. Not holding my breath though.

AP’s new QB will be there next Wednesday. Not as good as Barrier but will be better than anyone on the roster. Still should win district IMO.

What if Anahuac has another QB coming in to replace Barrier?

Barrier wasn't fired. Hoping somehow he stays at Anahuac another year.

Anywho, the rumor is, he's already been replaced.

Barrier is leaving Anahuac. I believe he should have stayed 1 more year, matured a little more and worked on his scrambling and footwork, then moved on to a 5A or 6A team and shoot for a D1 college. If he goes there and gets beat up and doesn't make the playoffs, I'm afraid it will set him back. At Anahuac, he would be in the playoffs and possibly make a deep run and teams will come calling for his services. Just my .02.
