Didn't make this game, but was at the last 2.... Vidor has key players that are not stepping it up..I don't find that the Coachs fault at all...can't help it if his players just can't finish...I think Vidor can win some of these games they just need to believe in themselves and stop making the little mistakes...Quit being a hater and look at the talent, but we all know Heart can win a ball game!!  Relax Vidor and get r dunn..

This will be a great game, maybe even overtime....but the Pirates will take it.....by 2....

Some people think it’s simple..but it’s not…. The LOVE FOR HIS OR HER SPORT would have to be the first thing.  A coach motivates his team by keeping the Love of the game exciting.  They prepare them mentally and physically.  They also demand Respect and therefore it flows over to their teammates, officials and etc.  A good coach goes over team strategy as well as fundamentals.  They watch film and encourage.  And let’s don’t forget about the Adjustments that a team needs to make during a game.  A great coach knows how to make those necessary adjustments and have that winning program. There have been some really good coaches in our area and one I think you need to keep your eye on is Quinn at Vidor.  I’ve seen him coach for the past 6 or 8 years and he’s got that something special that rates him as one of the top coaches in the area.  He developed a nice program at WOS and once again has proved himself at Vidor.  He’s 19-1 right now but sits in the seat as the upset team of the district. Anyone can coach a great group of athletes, but if you are lacking that something special, you’ll never get them passed the hump. 

Congrat's to Vidor and Coach Quinn on the WIN.....Looking for you guys to make some real noise this year in 4A....Taking it one game at a time....NICE.... ;)

Great game in 4th..pflug was ahead by 3 at one point..but westbury pulled it out by 2..I think it ended up 44 to 42...

#6 Ranked Pflugerville will take on #4 in the Nation Westbury Christian at Sam Houston High School, Moss Bluff, LA 8:00pm tonight...They are participating in the Rumble in the Bluff Basketball Tournament...Should be an exciting game to watch...
