After reading all of the comments about Silsbee’s Defense and how Yates would be over matched was like WOW. People was saying that the Wax Life Game was good for Silsbee and they would be ready for Yates. The majority of people on this site either under estimated Yates, or over estimated Silsbee. Silsbee interior defense was pathetic, #3 Norman almost had 18 points in the first half and he was in foul trouble. The Yates Coach didn’t press for 32 minutes and Silsbee was either scared or didn’t have the players to press Yates. Those guards were to quick for Silsbee, and it showed by the number of easy layups. This was a Upset

I guess I should have been worried about Yates this year. Read all of the predictions sense the playoffs started had Silsbee in San Antonio and a few saying Yates wouldn’t be a problem. WOW

I was speaking with a group of Yates Fans last light and they were saying this team is better then last year. They were saying last year team was depending on 2 players and the team didn’t play as a unit. It was selfish play last year. This years team play as a unit and they have a point guard that can take anyone off the dribble. They also mentioned how the Yates Coach took the air out of the ball at the end of the game last night.
