It will be a close game but the fact that the game is in Lumberton gives them an advantage. Almost every schhool in 20-4a has speed the last two years and that hasn't made a difference yet. Lumberton plays 7-on-7 against silsbee during the summer so the have seen jj's speed to some extent. I see it it being a 1 td difference for either side but hopefully Lumberton puts it on them for Village Creek bragging rights

It' funny you say that cause from what i've heard they petitioned to get out of the hardest 4A district in the state! Lumberton does need to beef up their schedule and play some 5A schools in the preseason

I think it's going to be a close race for the district title this year and i don't see only one teams name on it for the third year in a row. Vidor has a good team but they play a tough road schedule during Coach C first year at Lumberton he fielded a team that was not as good as it has been recently but for Vidor to play in Lumberton is tough because that is usually a kind of rival game. good luck to everyone

Did #8 come back in at the end of the game to maybe try and help dayton win this so called "glorified" practice? I hope they meet in the playoffs so they can settle this with a real game. All in all it was a good game r both teams [move]GO RAIDERS!![/move]
