  1. all of huffman speed didnt grad with the 06 class they have returning rb/wr Cody Schexnaider that will not only out run yo but truck the crap out you why dont you just ask the forest brook kid who he knocked the helmet right off his head about 4 feet in the air and returning qb/wr Zach Sipe who got all district last year as wr in the same district as barbershill and is probably the most underated qb in the district due to the lack of success the team is experiencing and not to mention the underclassmen. yeah huffman might be small in numbers but we have our fair share of athletes on the team and they could be 5 and 2 if it not for a couple of key plays that change the game so i think huffman will give all barbers hill they can handle and somemore and might even shock the world and pull one out

I wonder with Sipe is a very good player. And was nominated by me first for player of the week against NC. But BH will still when this game.

But you are right I think it will be a close game but that will only be because our QB and is hurt and our RB might not play.

  2. HMMM I guess that means we are both (BH and Dayton) are in week districts.

Aint that what everyone was saying!

About how Dayton rulled all them years and now they are going to get their buts handed to them in this new district.

It seems to be the other way around

  3. Great to meet up with you Gringo!! Your son looked good tonight i'm sure not his best night, but he's young, goodluck to him and New Caney. We did leave the 1st team in later than I would have liked. I would have hated to see an injury late for no reason. Coaches did do a heck of alot better play calling tonight Kudos to the coaches. Mason is not the answer to everything, but he is two good to not throw to him several times a game. We threw to Mason twice in the Crosby game & Jasper game and both games were horrible to watch because we couldn't uopen up the run. we opened up against New Caney and Bellville and man it looks alot smoother!!

What I was meaning on it could of been worse if we didn't have the turnovers or the bad snaps. When we got a drive going in the 2nd quarter we were moving it pretty good and then had 2 bad snaps back to back that were monsters. Man I didn't think it was possible to throw a ball that far in a 3 point stance. That just goes to show you what kind of athletes we have.

And hey GRINGO I dont want to sound like I am rubbing in it so please dont take it like that when I say it could have been worse.

  4. We had over 300 yards of total offense. That is what I like to see. We have a good first year QB and he has 1000 yards on the year for passing. The coaches really spread the ball around this week and that is what I like to see. This game could have gotten out of hand real early if it wasn't for the bad snaps. But give the center some credit he was playing hurt and giving it 100% out their. That is what a real Eagle does.

WE CAN WE WILL WERE BARBERS HILL!!!!!!!!!!!!

  5. What a good game! The center was hurt most of the night and still played what an effort by him. The play calling was great. We had some bad snaps but everything worked out. And man what about the DEFENSE was they great. NC has alot of speed.

Mason Fisher rocked tonight he should no dout be player of the week.

Part of NC problem was their QB. He was real fast but scared to take a hit. He would run then when he was about to get hit he would fall down. What a BABY.

  6. You know I probablly fit into this group as well. Probablly my problem is I am jealous and I am proud of it. I played through the Skidmore and Magallion years and we suck. We had 2 plays sweep to the right and sweep to the left. When skidmore left we had a chance to get one of the best coaches in the state and passed him up for Magallion. We even had the chance for Price to get the job which I would have thought would of been the one to get if Hooks turned us down. We do have a good group of coaches in BH and we have a great thing going on here through all sports. I bet you over half of the highschool's in the state wish they had the success we have had with sports over the past 8 years.

So I offer my apoligy here right now in front of every body.

Coaches I am sorry for the comments I have made in the past about your abilitys to caoch and lead our kids to championship after championship. And why I am at I would like to see us not come out of a game with 46 rushing attempts and 13 passing attempts. To me that is not a true spread offense. But from here on out I will not say anything about the coaches.

  7. Thanks for jumping on Eagletown. I was starting to wonder were you where at.

We do have a bunch of talented players. And we do have some good coaches. But we do get out coached in the playoffs. The problem is when the other team watches our film they see that if a play dosen't work to the left then we run it to the right the next play. We have a great offensive scheme just the wrong person calling the plays. Do I think I am qualified to call the offenseive plays? No I dont. But i dont think little Price is either.

  8. Glad i aint the only one haveing to work nights. Nice to see you DAD. I had heard the center last Friday wasn't the regular center do to injury. But hey who was the kid on the sideline that was practicing on snapping but didn't ever get a chance to get in the game at center.

The truth of the matter is BH has always been doubted by people that have never played us. But the ones that have played us know the truth.

  9. Look we do have good coaches I never said we didn't. A lot of the success we have been having for the past 7 years is because our coaches are good at adjustments during half time. Now what we are talking about is the play calling ability of the OC. He needs to adjust him self at half time. Let me ask you a question. Is it fair for defense to to have to protect a 7 point lead for 3 quarters when they could have protected a 21 point lead. Their was no dout that we could have thrown on Crosby the whole night which would have opened up the running game. In stead we ran the ball 46 times for 44 yards and throwed the rock 9 times for like 170 yards or something. If you are able to throw the rock then throw it build up your lead then run the clock out with the running game.

Like I said before we do have good coaches. The only thing I can come up with is they were teying to hide something. As in they didn't want to throw the whole play book at them. We are saving it for GP.

  11. New Caney is up and down it seems. They score 49 on Huffman then score 14 on Smiley??????

New Caney has a large enrollment so they should be able to put fresh bodies in all night. The BH Defense will do what they do best and keep them in check. The Offense will do well if the play calling and snapping problems are solved.

Coaches Hint: If you run up the middle 20 times for 5 yards this means the Defense knows whats coming  If you have a 6'4" all district reciever gaurded bya 5'4" corner in single coverage toss the rock

Go get'em Eagles!!! BH that is :D

My god BHFAN you are awesome I couldn't have said it better myself.

  12. I never saw 7 in the box' date=' much less 8 or 9.[/quote']

Yeah Sticky your right their wasn't 8 or 9 in the box but their were 7 in the box of and on. The point I was trying to make was why only throw the ball 8,9 or 10 times a game and run it 44 times. We have a good team and a good first year QB that has a pretty good arm on him. So why not throw the ball more spread it out they all aint got to go to Mason but when you have a corner mismatched with your reciever you need to take advantage of it. Every one in the stands seen it so I know the coaches seen it. I am sure the head phones the coaches were aren't for ear warmers so I know the coaches in the press box seen it too. The Defense is good real good and it aint fair to them having to protect a 7 point lead for 3 quarters of the game when we could of had a 21 point lead. That is all I am trying to say. The only thing is the coaches know we have some tough teams in front of us still so they might not of wanted to show the whole play book.
