Allison was the only one drafted from Angelina and that is a littl bit of a reach, he is still raw but his upside is great, really good kid I hope he goes to SFA. To answer 643 the coaching at Angelina is the problem, The Asst. is really good but has his hands tied, with all the talent that goes throught Lufkin, they continue to struggle just to make the Region tourney......ashame.

Jags season comes to a end with a 9-3 loss the British Columbia, after starting the season 1-10 the Jags made a 32-11 run and return 90% of the lineup, Broc Haymon made a relief apperence and finished the tourney with 13 scoreless innings and 13 K's, he was a monster this year. Jerrod Dugas lead the team in the tourney with a .368 average. Both guys return next year so look out for the 2011 Jaguars, should start the season in the Top 15..... -

Jags loose Game 3 to 2009 WS runner ups Point Loma California 10-7, J.Dugas was 1-3 with a DB RS and a walk, the Jags will play at 3pm against British Columbia in a elimination game with the winner facing PL at 7pm. Jags are one of 27 remaining teams in the country...... -
Broc Hayman threw a complete game shutout and struck out 12 as the Jags beat #1 seed British Columbia to advance to the winners bracket final in Fresno California, Jerrod Dugas was 1-2 BB Sac and a rbi and is hitting .400 in the finals. The Jags face Point Loma Nazarnae a 2009 World Series finalist at 3pm with the winner advancing to the Tourney Championship. Broc Haymon leads the nation in ERA with a 1.17 and a average of 10k's per game......

The Jaguars are headed to Fresno California for a shot at the World Series, they open up with Ohio Dominican 11am Tuesday. Good Luck to Coach Terry Puhl and the Jags.... -
The Jaguars entered the tourney in Jackson,Tenn. as the 4th seed and opened with Cal-San Marcos and a 4-3 win, then it was #5 seed LSU-A and a 5-2 win follwed by a 10-8 come from behind victory over #1 seed Thomas, Ga. The Finals set up UHV vs #2 Lamberth.....Lamberth jumped out to an 8-0 lead in the first and a 10-2 lead in the second but the Jags scored 8 runs in the bottom of the 8th to win the crown 17-13 Locals boys Broc Hayman, Daryl Stevens, Jerrod Dugas and Rory Scales now get ready to head to Lubbock for the National tourney and the shot at the NAIA World Series.
