Not the same event obviously but we played at TABC showcase this past summer. It was similar we led most of early game and then they made a run late and won a close game. They are very good. Honestly when you are talking about most of 3A top 10 anyone can beat anyone on anyday as just kind of depends on lots of matchup factors and shooting. Paradise is great at what they do, I wasn’t good enough of a coach to find out this year. Well earned championship for them.

Great season by Orangefield. One of the best coaches in the area, it’s nice to see success for him. Also great career by Scales. Dude came in to high school with tons of hype and most kids would crumble under that pressure. He flourished and improved every year.

Hats off to a very talented and skilled Westwood team. Our press isn’t what failed us tonight. Was it perfect tonight in the 2nd quarter no, but that’s not why we lost. It’s back to back seasons that have ended because I didn’t have us prepared enough to handle the physical play that takes place this late. That’s my coaching error I will own. I let an amazing group of seniors down and failed. it’s funny how quickly everyone forgets what Onalaska was before the last two years. Before last year our program had zero playoff wins and zero district championships. We now have multiple district championships and back to back regional final runs.

Starters did their job and got up 37 in first half to get some much needed rest. Bench and JV pull up kids got to play 2nd half making sure we didn't get hurt before playoffs was more important than the 100 point streak this time.

The man can coach for sure, wasn’t ideal when they got moved back into our district as the difficulty level goes up with him in it for sure.

Was very strange fluke year for us going d1 last year. We were smallest 3A d1 in state by a lot. This year something crazy these last 4 games will have to change for us to not go d2 as 2 of these 3 would have to miss playoffs: trinity, Crockett, Coldspring. Orangefield should be the favorite in the region for d1. I think very highly of their coaching staff and players. Dream matchup fun game to see would be orangefield vs Trinity in the playoffs as fan to me. Would likely have to be 4th round though I think.
