Yes I agree. I was surprised by that as well. I also think London not being 1 is kind of crazy. I get Madison and who they play but winning should count for something. I thought maybe the West Fork win would help us some as that was quality 5A but apparently not.

I agree with Orangefield being in top 10. We have no chance of moving up basically as our district isn't viewed as well as some others so unless someone above us loses more. I do think Trinity should be ranked at least 23-25 range and they will be a major player in D1 region 3 for 3A.

Lipan I would bet shot below their normal average from 3 as well. They got wide open looks that they normally knock down with ease which also let Westwood get back in the game with that run like you mentioned. I was shocked martins mill lost to Westwood the day before as similar style to Lipan. Westwood is a major mismatch problem for most small schools across the state outside of the top teams because of their athleticism and individual skill ability. They are missing one starter still recovering from football injury that should return sometime this month which will help them a ton.

Yes the coach's sons are both on the team. oldest is a junior and the other a freshman. The one still in Jh is the best of all of them.

Was a great battle, lots of growing up from this one for sure. Credit to EC for being who they are as a program with great coaching they wouldn’t go away no matter how many times we got up 15. 3A is loaded with good teams and D1 will be wide open. Onalaska gauntlet of a schedule rolls on with Hitchcock and Central Heights Thursday in tournament action.

Was 4 point game with 1.5 minutes left. Great atmosphere.

They tried to do matchups as best they could based on input from some coaches I’m assuming like Southerland etc to rank Texas teams with Louisiana teams and go as many good on good as they could. Our matchup wasn’t bad and gave us some good stuff to see. Loved how physical they let us play. Very well ran. Some schools just had some bad matchups athletically and size wise. I think our matchup with Alexandria was really good. Made us a lot better as no one on our schedule is that big and that athletic. Westwood will be athletic but they don’t have that size.
