Our dec is not doing forfeits we worked it all out this summer. Everything is just postponed and will be made up at later date. We luckily have very good coaches in our basketball district to prevent forfeits from happening unless it’s literally at the end of the year up against the certification date

Livingston had to cancel their game with onalaska on Tuesday November 24th.

Onalaska travels to Douglass Monday for 12:30 game. Onalaska also added a game with LaPoyner Saturday in Onalaska at 1pm.

Douglass and Chireno didn’t play due to Chireno having to be in quarantine. Also central isnt playing until the 30th I believe as well.

Lumberton is better than they have ever been in the 4 years I’ve been in this area. This is my observation from me watching them on film in the past and seeing them in person this year. That district is very impressive with the quality of teams. Coach Mitchell does a great job and is a good man. Hardworking and straight class individual.

For the record since you want to compare teams we played. College station was missing 3 starters.

Onalaska and Kountze game was cancelled for November 28th. Onalaska is looking for a replacement game.

UIL is not stone walling. They have multiple plans in place and are constantly communicating with TEA and The governors office. They are constantly adapting as new info comes in. They will release a plan this week. But No plan this year will be a set in stone plan in terms of dates because there will have to be flexibility due to the unknown.

Districts can still be more strict than this. Nothing really has changed. Districts can still create a policy that students have to attend in person classes in order to be in extra-curricular activities. I’ve already seen a few districts post their stance on both sides. Some will allow it and some won’t.
